Shazia moved a little away from Andrew as his jaw clenched, she was walking away from him. Just like that? The thought did not go well with him.
“I see my last wish is here,” Shazia said happily as Dev glanced at Andrew.
“What? Pass it to me,” She said, showing her all 36 teeth; Dev wanted nothing more than to throw the water at her face.
‘What did my brother see in her?’ He was forced to think. Making a disgusted face, he slid the glass towards her as she smiled, holding the glass like a little girl.
“I was really craving some ice,” She said, happily sucking on the piece of block ice as Andrew glanced at her; after all, this was the last time he was going to see her alive.
Dev looked away, bored from the whole situation, taking a seat. He stared at the wall zoning out in his own world of memories.
Shazia drank some water and closed her eyes. The cold water calmed her nerves, maybe even freezing them a bit, but she did not mind.
“Your five minutes are up, Shazia,” Andrew said in a low tone, as he pulled his gun out of his pocket and kept it on his forehead.
“You can still change your decision,” he said one last time. He really did not want to kill her.
“I’ll pass,” She said with a cold smile on her face as he pressed the trigger of the gun. There was no fear in her eyes.
Within a second, Shazia fisted the block ice piece she had been sharpening with her tongue for the last 5 minutes.
Even ice was enough for her to kill him.
“Sorry, not sorry,” She whispered before digging the sharp ice piece into Andrew’s eyes; there she poked his eyeballs before he could manage to defend himself.
“Aaaaaahhhh,” he cried in pain as blood started to escape his eyes; Dev saw all this with wide eyes before he shot her. She dodged it by a centimeter.
“You bitch!” he fired another set of bullets at her; she was not as lucky as she thought she would be.
“Fuck!” She cried, and the bullet hit her right in between her chest. She picked up Andrew’s gun and loaded it, still whimpering in pain, she shot him in the crotch, making him fall on his legs.
“You see, this bitch bites as well,” She said as he stared at her in anger and pain.
“You are a fucking cold-hearted murderer,” he said, spitting in her face.
“Witness the cold-hearted murder then, but oops, now you won’t be able to witness your death as well,” She said to him before she poked his eyeballs as well.
Dev’s hand was looking for his gun but Shazia smiled as she kicked the gun away from him and then the other.
“Why Shazia, Why?” there he was, Andrew with a gun in his hands pointed at her.
“How stupid you can be. She pointed a gun at me when you are blind,” She said, walking towards him, his fingers trembling. He did hear what she did to Dev. He was pretty sure he was near to death or already dead.
A gun sound echoed in the room but she laughed, he shot in the wrong direction.
“You think I did not get the training you are using?” she whispered in his ear before she stabbed his heart with the ice piece that was still in her hands.
He could not even scream as she stabbed him again. His blood trickled down her hands as he fell to his knees.
“I loved you,” he whispered, taking short breaths, maybe his last breath.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk,” She sat on her knees, keeping all the weight on her ankles; her eyes glanced at his pained expression. He puffed a breath out of pure pain.
Soon, blood started to come out of his mouth. Shazia knew he was going to die in the next 3 minutes.
“I loved you too,” She said, she was being honest this time.
His head turned in her direction, he had started bleeding into his lungs, and soon he wouldn’t be able to breathe.
“Why?” he asked, his voice too painful for his own good.
“You cheated me, if you had not kidnapped me, had said the truth, maybe… just maybe I would not have to kill you this badly,” she said as she saw him taking his last breaths.
“Khuda Hafiz, Andrew,” She whispered to him as he took his last breath, his body that moved a few moments ago stopped all the movements.
A tear escaped her eyes as she looked away. She still had Dev’s gun in her hands, she could not leave it there.
“You know Andrew, I... I loved you… I loved you for real. If I had not seen you with Dev, then maybe you guys would have been able to tackle me, maybe kill me,” She said to his dead body. She glanced at the camera that had everything recorded. She couldn't risk taking it with her. What if it had a tracker fit inside it?
She held it in her hands, pulled out the chip, and dropped the camera with full force, breaking it into a thousand pieces.
Her thoughts wandered to her wound that was now making her dizzy, she had lost a lot of blood if she continued to bleed at this rate. She would die soon.
Walking out of the room from the unlocked door, she walked to the car that had the purse she was hiding before.
She pulled out the kit and took off her top and bra. Biting her lips she pulled out the bullet, stitching the wound as she applied alcohol to the wound. She cried because of the pain.
“Damn, this is going to leave a scar,” she murmured, taking a deep breath as she dressed the wound the best she could.
She wore her bra back and clipped it, whimpering a bit from the pain, she let her tears fall, Dev’s words were hurting her.
‘Mamma? Mamma, did you hear that? Heard what he said? He called me a cold-hearted murderer’ she murmured under her breath, wearing the top. She got her shrug that she always kept in her purse.
Keeping the gun in her purse, she started walking away from the crime scene.
Her thoughts wandered to the time when she saw Andrew.
Her breaths were uneven as she opened her purse to pull out the injection, she couldn’t trust him at all, and even if he had good intentions, the situation did not seem safe to her.
She pulled out the syringe and filled it with the liquid, it would cancel out the effect of anesthesia.. I would certainly faint but for only a few minutes.
Her control over her body will stay the way it is, it will feel more like a short nap.
Winching at the pain from the needle, she wiped her tears that threatened to roll down her chin. She met him with a smile but what happened later was just the consequence of Andrew and Dev’s actions.
“Awe, my little munchkin,” Saba coed the small 2-year-old as he threw his legs in the air making her smile. Throwing all her hair on the other side, she took a little more baby oil in her hands and rubbed her palms before massaging the baby’s body, which was enjoying it to the fullest.“Elena, calm down baby,” the baby’s mother, Charlotte, came inside the room with a smile on her face.“ma.. mah,” She said in her baby tongue as she tried to run towards her mother, “Elena, be careful,” Saba was quick to hold her before she could fall down from the bed. Thank fuck to the pillow wall she placed on the side of the bed.“My goodness, are you okay, baby?” Charlotte asked her daughter as Saba moved aside, making way for the mother-daughter duo.“Here, drink it,” She was about to feed Elena with the bottle when Saba took the bottle from her hands.“What’s the matter?” Charlotte asked in a harsh tone as Saba kept the bottle away from her reach.“Mam, I just gave her a massage, it is not good f
Jesse served the coffee to the old couple who always came to her bakery they smiled, “Goodnight honey,” She smiled at them as they walked out. Jesse felt the presence of someone in the bakery as she looked around, only to find him standing at the door.“Leave me!” She cried as he choked her throat even more, his fingers were surely going to leave marks on her skin.Tears started to burn her eyes as she wiggled in his grip, “St-op,” She cried, but he held her tighter, cutting off her oxygen supply completely.“Ja.. Jacob!” She breathed as he loosened his grip around her throat. Not having any more energy in her body, she fell on the floor coughing hard. Her face turned red as she wiped her tears, still coughing, trying to suck in as much oxygen as she could.“You had one job!” he yelled at her as she closed her eyes in fear. She soothed her aching throat with her fingers as she glanced at him.His irritated self threw the water glass directly at her face, making her cough with shock ag
What should I do with you now?” She asked, as his throat turned dry. She said, her hand wrapped around his throat.“Give me some more time,” he said as he closed his eyes for a second.“tsk, tsk, tsk, more time? How come I trust you again?” She asked in a rough voice. A drop of sweat rolled down from his forehead as a shiver went down his spine.“Trust me one last time,” he said, trying to be confident, but he looked more like a scared wet cat out of the gutter.“Lies are not trusted. What do you keep as collateral?” She asked as he nodded, handing her a pen drive.“University’s map and camera loophole ways to reach the lab,” he said internally, praying that she agreed on this to give him some time.“impressive but not enough. You promised me the information today,” She said, applying more pressure on his neck, making it hard for him to breathe.“I a—am t—trying,” He let out the words with more difficulty.“You beat that woman for the one you claimed to love, didn’t you?” she asked as
Saba looked at her reflection as she stood in front of the gates of Jacob’s mansion. Holding her purse nervously in her hands, she bit her lips, looking around. She was waiting for permission to go in like she did every day.“You may go in, mam,” the gatekeeper said as she nodded with a small smile.“Martha, can you tell me where Mr. Jacob is?” She asked the headmaid who happened to be her friend.“Of course, He just told me to send a coffee to his study,” Martha said as she handed Saba the tray and placed two coffees in that tray.“Do you mind taking these two to his study, since you seem like going to meet him?” She asked with a teasing smile, “Sure,” she nodded. This was the best way to meet him without any awkward reasons. Saba walked up the stairs to his study room.Taking a deep breath, Saba raised her hand to knock on the door. When she did not hear any reply from the others, she knocked again but the door was open.Glancing at the door again, she pushed it open to walk inside,
Jacob made a fist of his hand as he turned to his wife, " I have something for you," he said, as Charlotte smiled. "Oh really?" She smiled, taking his forward hand. It's been quite some time since he gifted something to her. "Slow down, I am still sore," She said, blushing away as he nodded, taking slow steps now. He took her quite rough an hour ago. Jacob took her to the room connected to his study. Charlotte looked at him with a smile as he pressed a kiss on her lips. "I have a gift for you," he said as she smiled, taking a seat on the bed. She watched him open the cabinet near the bed. He handed her a set of papers and a pen. Charlotte's smile dropped as she read the agreement. "What kind of sick joke is this, Jacob?" She asked, throwing the divorce papers on the bed. Her eyes filled with water, she loved this man so much and here he was handing her divorce papers. No way was she going to sign them. "I am giving you half of this property along with Elena's co-parenting custo
“Thank you for this job, Meera,” Saba said as she took the dress from Meera. “Don’t take me for an easy boss, I am a very strict one,” Meera said with a smile as they both giggled. “The store was getting hard to manage alone since all the students were taking their leaves,” Meera said as she walked towards the billing counter. “Yeah they need to focus on studies now,” Saba said as she switched on the news. “This is KKN news from Milan University, reporting live, Yesterday night a girl tried to Heck into the physics department of the University, the said words are she was trying to steal research information, The Name of the said girl is Shazia Khan,” the beautiful news reporter spoke as they both looked at the screen. “the girl is now in the custody of the police, doubts of her being a spy or connected to the Mafia are in the air—“ Before the Anchor could complete her sentence Meera put the TV on mute and looked at Saba, “You study in the same university, don’t you?” She asked
Saba stared at her almost dislocated shoulder, she took the pain relief gel from the tube and started applying it.“why do I have such weird sleeping habits?” She murmured, mad at herself, she slid the black full-sleeved top over her head and fixed her hair once again, applying a lot of ketchup on the roti (tortilla) she made.Looking around, she closed her eyes and licked her fingers full of ketchup, smiling to herself she cleaned her fingers with the tissue, taking the roti roll with her she held her books and her sling bag on her shoulder.Locking the door of her small one-bedroom apartment, and keeping the keys in her purse she walked towards the stairs, yeah, the building did not have an elevator.“Oh fuck” she hit her hand on her head and ran back to her apartment, she saw the window was properly closed.Sighing, she glanced at the clock, “I don’t want to be late for Professor King’s class after being absent for a week, Allah please make him late, just a few minutes, just for to
"Saba," Hearing her name she turned around to look at him, He did not say anything more waiting for her to walk back to him. She licked her lips looking at him with a blush on her face. "Yes sir?" she asked "There’s something of yours left with me," Aryan said as Saba looked at him with her innocent eyes. Fuck, if she was not my student she would have been on her knees with the same innocent eyes looking at me "Huh?" She was confused as hell looking at the books and things in her hands, she was sure she did not drop anything back there."What is it, sir?" She asked in an unsure voice. Aryan's lips twined as he looked at her before pulling out a delicate piece of jewelry from his pocket. Saba's eyes widened as she looked at that bracelet in his hands. "Where did you find this one?" She asked as she touched the bracelet, it was still in his hands. “At the grocery shop,” he replied as she tried to take the bracelet from his hand but it was stuck in his wristwatch.“Umm…” this was
