Jesse served the coffee to the old couple who always came to her bakery they smiled, “Goodnight honey,” She smiled at them as they walked out. Jesse felt the presence of someone in the bakery as she looked around, only to find him standing at the door.
“Leave me!” She cried as he choked her throat even more, his fingers were surely going to leave marks on her skin.
Tears started to burn her eyes as she wiggled in his grip, “St-op,” She cried, but he held her tighter, cutting off her oxygen supply completely.
“Ja.. Jacob!” She breathed as he loosened his grip around her throat. Not having any more energy in her body, she fell on the floor coughing hard.
Her face turned red as she wiped her tears, still coughing, trying to suck in as much oxygen as she could.
“You had one job!” he yelled at her as she closed her eyes in fear. She soothed her aching throat with her fingers as she glanced at him.
His irritated self threw the water glass directly at her face, making her cough with shock again.
“You had one job to give her the information in a manner that does not shock her,” Jacob said as he held her hair in a grip.
“I got you to go close to her so that you can make her realize my love for her, not to scare her away,” he said as she closed her eyes.
“It’s not like I did not try, boss,” She tried to argue, but with one glare from him, she knew she was going to regret her words.
“you whore, who gave you the right to speak? Who said you could speak?” a slap handed on her cheek making her hit her head on the floor.
Jesse could not help but cry at the pain. She made a mistake when she agreed to work for him. Jacob Blue was nothing but a monster with human skin.
“I could fuck your mouth and you would do that gladly, won't you?” he said as her eyes widened. Is this the same man who claimed to love Saba a few moments ago?
“No,” her whisper was weak, her entire body was aching, especially her throat and her head.
“Forgot the times you used to do it?” He sat on his knees as she crawled away from his reach.
There was a time when she used to love him too.
“She does not love you, Jacob,” She said, attempting to stand up. He let her hold her shoulders, helping her stand.
“She does, she just does not know,” he said as the woman stared at him in wonder.
“What will it take you to understand her, no Jacob?” she asked in a low voice as he raised his hand to slap her again.
Jesse closed her eyes anticipating the pain and it came throwing her on the floor again. This time she felt the metallic taste in her mouth making her know he had made her bleed.
Not in a good way
Not in the way he had the first time they did it.
“She… She does not want to break your home, Jacob,” She said as his head snapped in her direction.
“Does that mean she loves me? See, I told you she loved me no?” He said like a child as if he was making himself believe she was in love with him.
“Jacob… No..” She said, keeping her hand on his cheek.
“Care and love are two different things,” She said as his face hardened again.
“seems like you could use another slap,” he said as she closed her eyes in fear, yet another slap by him.
She tried to crawl away towards the door but he held her before she could go. He held her and looked at her with a psychotic look.
“Dare you to run away from me,” he said as he raised his hand to slap her again.
“She does not want to be a home wrecker, maybe if you leave your wife, she will consider you,” She uttered in fear, meaning him to stop; she did not want to take any more of his beatings.
She would run away to somewhere else, somewhere away from him. Saba can work on this problem on her own.
“You gave her the job of nanny at your mansion so she could be close to you and your daughter, but now, when she knows you have a wife, she considers herself a home wrecker,” Jesse was quick to tell him everything Saba mentioned earlier.
“You may leave,” he said, just as she was free to go. Jesse was quick to take her bag and run away. Before the rise of tomorrow’s sun, she will be away from this country.
Jacob looked at Saba’s photo in which she was smiling at something Jesse was saying. She looked beautiful with her hair flowing, and the happiness in her eyes made him question his worth.
“Very soon you will be mine, Saba Khan,” he said, pecking at her photograph with a smile. He picked up his phone and dialed his lawyer’s number.
“I need divorce papers ready by tomorrow evening,” he said and cut the call even before his lawyer could reply to him.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of heels as the hair on his neck rose. He hastily grabbed the alcohol bottle in front of him and drew a few sips from it.
It would take him a lot more than that to face the woman who was equal to the devil.
“Hi baby,” he heard her say as he turned around, gulping another sip of his drink though he felt like peeing in his pants.
“Please sit,” he said, trying to appear polite.
“Heard the screams of that woman,” she said as his hands shivered.
“Continue having that drink, Jacob, I won’t kill you for hurting a woman who used to love you unless you don’t have the information that I asked you to get me,” She said as his face paled.
I—I “
“Fuck, you don’t have the information? Do you?” he gulped, knowing the outcome of lying. He nodded his head.
“Then what will I do with you?”
What should I do with you now?” She asked, as his throat turned dry. She said, her hand wrapped around his throat.“Give me some more time,” he said as he closed his eyes for a second.“tsk, tsk, tsk, more time? How come I trust you again?” She asked in a rough voice. A drop of sweat rolled down from his forehead as a shiver went down his spine.“Trust me one last time,” he said, trying to be confident, but he looked more like a scared wet cat out of the gutter.“Lies are not trusted. What do you keep as collateral?” She asked as he nodded, handing her a pen drive.“University’s map and camera loophole ways to reach the lab,” he said internally, praying that she agreed on this to give him some time.“impressive but not enough. You promised me the information today,” She said, applying more pressure on his neck, making it hard for him to breathe.“I a—am t—trying,” He let out the words with more difficulty.“You beat that woman for the one you claimed to love, didn’t you?” she asked as
Saba looked at her reflection as she stood in front of the gates of Jacob’s mansion. Holding her purse nervously in her hands, she bit her lips, looking around. She was waiting for permission to go in like she did every day.“You may go in, mam,” the gatekeeper said as she nodded with a small smile.“Martha, can you tell me where Mr. Jacob is?” She asked the headmaid who happened to be her friend.“Of course, He just told me to send a coffee to his study,” Martha said as she handed Saba the tray and placed two coffees in that tray.“Do you mind taking these two to his study, since you seem like going to meet him?” She asked with a teasing smile, “Sure,” she nodded. This was the best way to meet him without any awkward reasons. Saba walked up the stairs to his study room.Taking a deep breath, Saba raised her hand to knock on the door. When she did not hear any reply from the others, she knocked again but the door was open.Glancing at the door again, she pushed it open to walk inside,
Jacob made a fist of his hand as he turned to his wife, " I have something for you," he said, as Charlotte smiled. "Oh really?" She smiled, taking his forward hand. It's been quite some time since he gifted something to her. "Slow down, I am still sore," She said, blushing away as he nodded, taking slow steps now. He took her quite rough an hour ago. Jacob took her to the room connected to his study. Charlotte looked at him with a smile as he pressed a kiss on her lips. "I have a gift for you," he said as she smiled, taking a seat on the bed. She watched him open the cabinet near the bed. He handed her a set of papers and a pen. Charlotte's smile dropped as she read the agreement. "What kind of sick joke is this, Jacob?" She asked, throwing the divorce papers on the bed. Her eyes filled with water, she loved this man so much and here he was handing her divorce papers. No way was she going to sign them. "I am giving you half of this property along with Elena's co-parenting custo
“Thank you for this job, Meera,” Saba said as she took the dress from Meera. “Don’t take me for an easy boss, I am a very strict one,” Meera said with a smile as they both giggled. “The store was getting hard to manage alone since all the students were taking their leaves,” Meera said as she walked towards the billing counter. “Yeah they need to focus on studies now,” Saba said as she switched on the news. “This is KKN news from Milan University, reporting live, Yesterday night a girl tried to Heck into the physics department of the University, the said words are she was trying to steal research information, The Name of the said girl is Shazia Khan,” the beautiful news reporter spoke as they both looked at the screen. “the girl is now in the custody of the police, doubts of her being a spy or connected to the Mafia are in the air—“ Before the Anchor could complete her sentence Meera put the TV on mute and looked at Saba, “You study in the same university, don’t you?” She asked
Saba stared at her almost dislocated shoulder, she took the pain relief gel from the tube and started applying it.“why do I have such weird sleeping habits?” She murmured, mad at herself, she slid the black full-sleeved top over her head and fixed her hair once again, applying a lot of ketchup on the roti (tortilla) she made.Looking around, she closed her eyes and licked her fingers full of ketchup, smiling to herself she cleaned her fingers with the tissue, taking the roti roll with her she held her books and her sling bag on her shoulder.Locking the door of her small one-bedroom apartment, and keeping the keys in her purse she walked towards the stairs, yeah, the building did not have an elevator.“Oh fuck” she hit her hand on her head and ran back to her apartment, she saw the window was properly closed.Sighing, she glanced at the clock, “I don’t want to be late for Professor King’s class after being absent for a week, Allah please make him late, just a few minutes, just for to
"Saba," Hearing her name she turned around to look at him, He did not say anything more waiting for her to walk back to him. She licked her lips looking at him with a blush on her face. "Yes sir?" she asked "There’s something of yours left with me," Aryan said as Saba looked at him with her innocent eyes. Fuck, if she was not my student she would have been on her knees with the same innocent eyes looking at me "Huh?" She was confused as hell looking at the books and things in her hands, she was sure she did not drop anything back there."What is it, sir?" She asked in an unsure voice. Aryan's lips twined as he looked at her before pulling out a delicate piece of jewelry from his pocket. Saba's eyes widened as she looked at that bracelet in his hands. "Where did you find this one?" She asked as she touched the bracelet, it was still in his hands. “At the grocery shop,” he replied as she tried to take the bracelet from his hand but it was stuck in his wristwatch.“Umm…” this was
“I don’t understand, who is this her?” Sid asked as Aryan looked at him and shook his head; his mood was already spoilt. He took off his T-shirt and started walking out of the house.“We have to burn this house and them,” Aryan said as he looked around, there was no one, not even a bird, this location was weird.“The house can still be used,” Sid said as Aryan shook his head.“She did not burn them or hide their bodies, it means she wanted us to find her brutality or maybe she wanted to give the clue about us to the police because they sure would inspect two murders,” Aryan explained as he held his hair in a grip.“How about we give the identities to some other agents and bury these two somewhere?” Sid suggested.“And let their souls wander in the world? No thanks buddy,” Aryan said as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed someone’s number.“I need you to read someone’s last prayer,” he said as Sid raised an eyebrow at him. His gaze turned frustrated.“No, I would need a fa
Shazia's P. O. V.Looking at the photograph of my dead parents, I sighed, living alone was not easy.when nobody waits for you at night, nobody looks out when you are coming back, what would you call it? freedom or loneliness? loneliness is what I feel right now.like there is a void in my chest that is hurting, hurting so bad that even my tears choke.am I that bad that they did not stay? Don't I deserve them to stay with me?keeping the photograph in my purse, I looked at the dark alley, each day I fought with the darkness around but what about the void in me?will that ever be filled?Setting the silencer in my gun I walked towards the ally, "I am here," I said standing at the place with the white chalk mark. this was what I had been told to come to."You keep getting sexier every time I see you," a voice made me turn around as i looked at Wahid, a person I am not so fond of."And you keep getting uglier, try plastic surgery someday, maybe you'll be able to fix that vomit-worthy fa
