Seriously he was going to scoff at witches? I know we weren’t all friendly but now I know how he truly feels about us. He thinks he’s above us because he’s a werewolf and the future alpha. You have to be shitting me.

“Do you smell that” he says grabbing my arm as I try to yank it away.

“Smell what? All I smell is fire” I say and finally look him in the eyes. Ajax is shining through and he looks as if he is on full alert

“We need to get out of here now! We all do” he yells. Suddenly I see his eyes go white and I have no idea what’s going on.

Alex places himself in front of me and I hear a rumble and growl coming from his chest as he crouches down facing the forest. As I look into the woods I see a pair of eyes shining back at me.
