Chapter 49- Loving her

" No... No....open your mouth and drink it," Ajax insisted holding a glass of milk in front of Xenia. She was sitting on the couch caressing her six-month swollen belly.

She sounded disgusted," Yuck! I hate that smell." She moved away her face in another direction.

Ajax urged turning her face to him," The doctor suggested it. Drink it. I won't hear anymore."

" You are treating me like a child," Xenia complained glaring at him.

Ajax chuckled touching her nose playfully," You are a child."

Having no other choices Xenia took the glass with one hand. She held her nose with another hand and chugged down the milk. She huffed in relief when the glass was empty. She felt the milk coming back upwards her throat again but she swallowed it with great difficulty.

It's been six months since Xenia conceived. This news brought another kind of happiness in their lives but there was some anxiety as well. Xenia's pregnancy was risky and it may lead to miscarriage. However, Xenia and Ajax stood beside
