Chapter 45- Gunshot

Ajax woke up from his sleep feeling a severe headache. The burning sensation in his eyes hasn't faded yet. He started hissing in pain. He tried to open his eyes but he couldn't. He tried to move his hands and that's when reality hit him hard. He was sitting in a chair and bound by ropes.

Suddenly, someone splashed a bucket of water on his face and he was forced to open his eyes. Adjusting to the sudden light he looked forward and as expected the person in front of him was none other than Diana. She smirked looking at him. He took a fast-paced look at his surrounding.
