Chapter 17 Bring Her Back to Me

Javier’s handsome features twisted into a grimace of pain. He was caught off guard by Claire’s sudden attack.

Claire gasped in surprise. With a final heave, she managed to push him away with all her might.

“I’m so sorry, Mr. Marquez!” Giving a hurried apology, she made her escape.

After a few minutes, Javier managed to compose himself. He sat up on the bed, his eyes burning with anger.

That damned woman! He was going to get her and make her pay for what she had done to him!

With narrowed eyes, he tried to recall what she was wearing. If he wasn’t mistaken, the woman was dressed as a room attendant.

As Javier thought of that, he went to the door and opened it. The two bodyguards standing guard outside nodded when they saw him. “Mr. Marquez.”

“Did you see the woman who just left?”

Both of them glanced at each other and replied simultaneously, “Yes, sir.”

“Great.” Javier narrowed his eyes coldly. “Bring her back to me!”
