Chapter Eleven

 "So whats wrong?"

I looked up at my mother while twirling my spoon around in boredom.

"What makes you think somethings wrong?"

She raised an eyebrow as she placed a hand on her hip.

"For the last week you have been moping around since coming back from the pack lands you visited with your brother. Don't think I haven't noticed."

I sighed and chuckled as I looked at my half empty bowl.

"Have you ever made a difficult decision that defies everything you have ever known since young? Like...given up on something that was destined to be yours?"

I waited silently for her reply, till her tanned hand came in my peripheral and covered my paled one.

I looked up when she didn't say anything, she wore a sad expression as she smiled at me.

"I won't ask you what happened when you were there, but I will say this. If you believe the decision you made was right in your heart. Then it was the right one. Don't stray from your beliefs
