Chapter Eight

I sighed as my legs hung off the armrest of the couch I was laying in. The room was encased in darkness except for the little rays of moonlight that shone through the gaps in the curtain.

Questions wandered through my mind as I sat there alone with my thoughts.

I scoffed at the thought of what happened moments ago.

I ended up leaving Damon's place and running back to the Pack house. I was beyond irritated with his attitude. Especially when I tried to sneak up that "secret" staircase, I thought with a chuckle. 

I nearly got there too.

"One more day," I whispered to the darkness.

One more day till Damon decides our destiny. I hated how he had the power in this decision. It's not like I could put any input in considering I've already accepted him.

He just needs to accept me.

I got up off the chair and walked towards the double doors that lead out to the balcony.

As I opened the doors I shivered as the wind car
