Chapter 4

"I am Trevor and I am the vampire king. What is your name, woman?" The vampire king asked Celestine who was still shaking in fear. Her eyes widened when she heard what he said. If he was the vampire king then the vampire story was real. But who was the woman that awaken him? 

Celestine thinks that the woman who wakes up the scary vampire king should be killed. Because there are already lots of scary vampires in the world and now she awakens the scary and cruel vampire of all time. Celestine has no idea that she was the woman who awaken the vampire in front of her.

"W-Why did you kidnap me? W-What do you want from me?" Celestine bravely asked the vampire even if she was about to faint because of fear. Vampire is everywhere in the city but she never expects to see a real vampire since she always stays at home when the dark comes. So why a vampire suddenly kidnaps her and appeared in front of her as if he knows her house? She thought that maybe he has something to do with the two men who tried to kidnap her and Roda.

Trevor steps closer to Celestine so she has no choice but to step back inside the room. The guy is very handsome despite his pale-looking white skin. He has long curled eyelashes with a set of deep eyes. The gaze in his eyes could give a creepy feeling to anyone who will see him. He has a strong aura that could make a person intimidate in front of him even if he happened that he is not a vampire. He owns a perfect shape of pointed noise that anyone would envy. His lips are red or red or maybe it was a stain of blood that he just drink before he came to look for me. He is tall and his body build is perfect even if he slept for a long time and hasn't drunk human blood. But no matter how handsome he is, Celestine feels frightened of him because she knows that he was going to kill her and drink her blood any time.

"I didn't intend to kidnap you, Lady. I went to your house to fulfill someone's wish and that is to kill you. But for some reason I kidnap you instead of killing you immediately," Trevor replied Celestine. He continues to approach her while Celestine continues to step backward.

"Someone asked you to kill me? Who is it? I don't have enemies so I don't believe you," she answered him. She screams when Trevor suddenly walks faster to approach her then he holds her shoulders. He pushes her and pinned her on the wall.  

"Why should I tell you who that person is?" Trevor said, his face just a few inches away from Celestine's face. 

Celestine closed her eyes when she saw Trevor's scary fangs again. She knows that she can't escape from him. Even if she struggles and fights him she won't be able to win because she is just a woman. A weak woman. But her only wish is before she dies she wants to know the person that asked the vampire to kill her.

"Please tell me who is the person that asked you to kill me before you drink my blood," Celestine begged him with her eyes closed. But to her surprise, Trevor laughed and then release her from his grip. She opens her eyes and gives him a questioning look.

"Didn't you beg me already not to kill you? I'm willing to grant your request, Lady. I will not be going to kill you but you will need to stay here and become my slave. Understand?" Trevor said, he throws her a sharp and warning look. "But don't you ever escape from me or else, I will kill all the people who lived in your house," he added.

Celestine feels irritated with him. Did he kidnap just her to become his slave? 

"Don't you have a slave living with you? What if you suddenly get mad at me and kill me? And we are from different races so why don't you just release me and let me go?" Celestine tries to convince Trevor. Her life will be in danger any time as long as she stays in his house and live with him.

Trevor's eyes suddenly narrowed. "Why don't I just kill you and drink your blood now to quench my thirst? I think it's better to kill you rather than to let you live and become my slave. Even if your blood doesn't seem delicious to me I will just make do with it."

"Oh, no. I'm willing to be your slave, my king," Celestine quickly replied, she couldn't hide the annoyance in her voice. Even if she is still scared of him she can't help herself from getting annoyed with the arrogant vampire. Her blood is not delicious to him? Then why did he try to drink her blood earlier? Do vampires choose the blood they should drink? Aren't all human blood taste the same in their mouth?

"Well, that's good to hear. You can now start to serve me. Follow me," Trevor walks to go out of the room but he suddenly stops when he noticed that Celestine is not following him. "What are you waiting for?" he asked when he turned around to look at her.

"What are we going to do?" she asked in a hesitant tone. Celestine was worried that Trevor will use her as bait to get his victim.

"Just follow me and don't talk anymore. By the way, what is your name?"

"Celestine Folks," she replied in a low voice. She was hesitant to give him her name but she was scared that it makes the vampire get mad if I don't give him her name.

Trevor stares at her for a few seconds. Celestine is a good name for her. He thinks that Celestine is a celestial being because of her beauty. He had lived for a hundred years already but he just saw a woman with this kind of beauty. Celestine's eyes are black as night. Though he sees terror in her eyes he thinks that she was still brave. Because no woman dared to talk back with him. The woman he encountered only knows how to beg for their life. Although Celestine begged for her life he thinks that the woman has braveness deep inside.

Celestine follows Trevor without asking again, scared that he might annoy him and change his mind about sparing her life. She noticed that Trevor's mansion is huge and had lots of empty rooms. The design of his mansion was kind of old but very neat. It looks like someone has maintained the cleanliness of his mansion even without him. The surrounding is very quiet and the quietness adds a the creeps she felt. But when they finally reach the living room the quietness suddenly disappears. Because the living room was lively and full of vampires enjoying the human blood as their wine. It looks like they are celebrating the vampire king's resurrection. The noisy living room suddenly became silent and all of them looks at us, especially at me. Celestine see the vampires' reaction when they saw her. They are all excited as if a delicious dessert was about to be served to them. She felt nervous. What if Trevor brought her to be the delicious dessert for his vampire followers? There are many vampires in front of her and her blood is not enough to of them. Are they going to put a straw in her body and sip her blood just like they are sipping orange juice? She silently prayed that her thoughts were wrong.
