CHAPTER 26

Shey’s POV

The endless darkness was over. My eyelids flickered to the glimmer of light that awakened my senses. Slowly, I opened my eyes.

I was welcomed with an unfamiliar sight. The interior of the room was very far from what I remembered my room was like. I scanned the place in hopes of finding a hint of familiarity to the place. But I failed. 

The woods incorporated into the walls gave a sensible warmth to the place. The design of the room focussed on smaller intimate patterns while introducing rich, sensuous textures because of the neutrality of its colors. Adding to the layer of soft elements, it gave me a welcoming feel. I didn’t feel any sign of threats though the surrounding was a complete stranger to me.
