Pierre's POV
I didn't know where I went wrong. All I wanted was to have Shey experience the beauty of Crustwick Mountain. Rather, a furious wolf I used to call mate a while ago attacked me.
"Shey.." All I could do was to call her name hoping that the sound of it would remind her of whom she was. I looked into her eyes desperately searching for the woman I once knew. But instead, I was faced by a monster I never knew existed inside her.
"Shey.. It's me. This is Pierre. I am your mate."
As if my last message even Hey, folks! Sorry it took me a while before I write an update. A lot had been going lately but I am better now. We are halfway through the story and so excited to see where Shey and Pierre's relationship would progress. The revelations on the succeeding chapters would surely put you at the edge of your seat!

Shey’s POV The endless darkness was over. My eyelids flickered to the glimmer of light that awakened my senses. Slowly, I opened my eyes. I was welcomed with an unfamiliar sight. The interior of the room was very far from what I remembered my room was like. I scanned the place in hopes of finding a hint of familiarity to the place. But I failed. The woods incorporated into the walls gave a sensible warmth to the place. The design of the room focussed on smaller intimate patterns while introducing rich, sensuous textures because of the neutrality of its colors. Adding to the layer of soft elements, it gave me a welcoming feel. I didn’t feel any sign of threats though the surrounding was a complete stranger to me.
