Introduction

I quickly entered my room, shutting the door behind me as I pretended to be busy in reading the books, I randomly found in this room.

I heard the door click open behind me but I didn't dared tk turn around to see the monster even when I heard the sound of door locking. Gathering all the courage in myself, I stood still not batting an eye to anything he was doing.

My hands stumbled as I went to pick the book in my trembling hands and the book end up down on the floor. The sound of book hitting the floor cut through the silence in the room and my trembling hand clutched on the corner of the table for support.

"Being a sneaky little cat now, are we?" His playful yet vicious voice hit my ear and I wanted to run by the danger I detected in his voice.

Slowly, I turned around looking down at the floor refusing to look up into those gray orbs. He took a careful step in my direction and abruptly, I took one back. He stopped at his place as his eyes roamed up and down my scared figure, profoundly.

Suddenly, I felt the weight of world on my shoulders just by the amount of intensity his stare held. I wanted to disappear into the thin air and get away from his predator gray eyes.

He took one big step towards me, forcing me to take one back until my back collided with the cold wall behind me. I gasped trying to step away when he caged me between his tall, muscular body and the wall behind me as he rested his one hand on the wall behind me.

My eyes looked up to connect with his ones and the look I saw his eyes softening for a flicker of second before they went back to being empty. It was so sudden that I would've missed it if blinked.

Taking a long deep breath as if calming the storm inside his body, he moved his head back and gave me space to exhale. My breathing system doesn't seem to work normally around him.

My heart beat fastened when he brought his hand under my chin and held it in a soft grasp. I was almost surprised by the softness I felt through his hand under my chin. The man who is so keen on being the monster is the one I find the most softness in.

The irony.

He brough his gray eyes down to meet with my purple ones as he leaned down closer to my face. My hands clenched in a fist and my heart missed a beat by the weird sensation that trickled through my body because of his touch.

"You know what they say about a person like you?" He hissed in my ear, his hot breath fanning my neck when he opened his mouth to speak. His gray eyes returned back to mine filled with wrath and displeasure as they bore into mine.

"Curiosity killed the cat." He says in a whisper his voice laced with the threat lingering around me in the form of his addictive scent and my feets itched to get away from him for the sake of my life, but only if I could.
