Nightmare

"Get up, Olivia. We have to save ourselves immediately," said a girl who was already panicking because Olivia suddenly fainted with the sound of gunfire.

Olivia opened her eyes but then the girl found no one there. The girl tried to run after seeing the figure of a terrible man with a very sharp black gaze.

"No! Don't kill me!"

 ***

Olivia had now completely opened her eyes. Sweat dripped down his forehead. The woman looked around the room and breathed a little relieved knowing she was still in her room.

A man entered the room in a bit of a hurry. "Did you have another bad dream?" asked Andrew who had stepped closer to the bed Olivia was sitting on in a hurry. Previously, the man heard Olivia's loud scream from outside the room.

Olivia was now shaking her head. "I think I'm just too tired," said Olivia who was now hugging Andrew because she was too scared.

"Calm down. I'm here. Nothing bad will happen," said Andrew trying to calm Olivia.

Olivia let go of Andrew's arms and looked at the green-eyed man. "I feel the effects of the medicine are very bad. Now I have forgotten what I did before but my body feels so tired that I have nightmares," Olivia said calmly. The woman had now shown her sadness in front of Andrew. This wasn't the first time Olivia had forgotten something after sleeping.

"That's probably because you are too tired. I heard from Margareth, before you were very excited to make cupcakes in the kitchen. I think that's why you were tired and forgot everything that happened while sleeping," said Andrew.

"Really? I don't remember making cupcakes before."

The door to the room was now knocked and showed Margareth's figure standing in the doorway. "Your parents are at the dining table now," Margareth said politely.

"Okay. That means it's time for dinner, Olivia," said Andrew, who had stood up from the bed and held out his hand to Olivia.

Olivia accepted the outstretched hand and immediately got up from the bed. "Why didn't you tell me that your parents were coming here? I should have gotten ready and dressed up a bit," Olivia said, a bit surprised.

Andrew was already shaking his head and smiling softly. "You're beautiful even without makeup. Don't worry, they've seen you often," said Andrew. The man immediately took Olivia's hand to quickly get out of the room and towards the dining table.

The woman's blue eyes were now staring at a middle-aged woman and man who were already sitting on the dining table chairs. "Welcome mom and dad," Olivia said to Andrew's parents.

"It's been a long time since I've seen you. Have a seat," said Megan, Andrew's mom.

Olivia nodded slowly and quickly sat down on a chair. Andrew slightly sighed because he saw Olivia who seemed very depressed every time she met his parents.

"Are you going to keep standing like that, Andrew? We have to get to dinner now," said Andrew's dad. David Grey.

Andrew was now following Olivia to immediately sit on a chair. After that, several waiters who were at home had served steak as a dinner menu on the table of each family member.

The dinner went very quietly but it was scary enough for Olivia. For some reason, every time she had to eat with Andrew's parents, it would be scary for no apparent reason.

"I heard you pushed back the wedding date again. Did something happen now?" David asked Andrew seriously.

Andrew took a deep breath before actually speaking. "I'm really worried about Olivia's condition lately. I can't do a wedding if she always forgets what she did the day after," Andrew replied seriously.

David had placed the knife he used to cut the steak onto the table with a slight noise. The man had now turned his gaze to Olivia who was now completely terrified.

Under the table, Andrew's hand was holding Olivia's hand quite firmly, trying to calm his lover down. "How long will it take for you guys to actually get married? Didn't I tell you, you guys should get married as soon as possible. I really want to have grandchildren," David said adamantly.

Megan has now stopped her activities, which were previously busy cutting steak. "Calm down. They will get married soon if Olivia's condition improves. Don't be like this, honey," Megan said trying to calm David down.

"Put your face up Olivia. Tell me what's really going on in your head," David said a little loudly. Olivia raised her face somewhat fearfully. David's face now really managed to frighten her.

Olivia now tightened her grip on Andrew and tried to calm herself down but then she felt cold sweat cover her body.

Slowly but surely, Olivia's vision had now turned blurry and then the woman just fainted from fear.

She could hear Andrew's voice calling some of the servants at his house to help bring Olivia back to the room very worried. Meanwhile, Olivia was completely unconscious now.

David had restrained the steps of his son who intended to enter the room after the servants who helped carry Olivia and immediately contacted the doctor.

"Stop sympathizing with her. Have you forgotten what we should do with her?" asked David emphatically.

"Why do you have to hate her like this? Her parents are gone. And even you have taken all of Olivia's property," Andrew replied firmly.

David had now landed his slap pretty hard on Andrew's cheek. "David!"

Megan had actually risen from the chair. The woman was really angry because of what her husband did.

"I already told you! Don't give it a chance for this child and that woman!"

Megan couldn't help herself. The woman landed a slap on her husband's cheek. "Stop bothering my son! You've got what you wanted!"
