Twins

Jason glanced at his watch. Hours of work ended an hour ago. The man was already in his car and was waiting for Olivia. However, after an hour, the man felt that Olivia would not come.

"Looks like she really won't come," the man said quietly. Jason has gone, the person sleeping, the sound of the exhaust was here, there was an old man sleeping playing like that. It was good. He said that he knew someone's house was there. God didn't really intend to put his seat belt on immediately when a woman knocked on his car window. The man's smile was perfect now.

Jason decided against putting on his seat belt and got out of the car. The man's smile now appeared as his eyes fell on Olivia. "You really came," Jason said.

"Hurry up and open the door," Olivia said impatiently. Jason stepped over to the car door from the other side and opened the door for the woman.

After Olivia got in, Jason got into his car and started to drive away from the office. "Can I really trust you?" Olivia asked.

"Of course. I'll take you to someone who knows you very well," Jason replied with a small smile. Olivia just nodded slowly without a word after that.

Jason started playing classical music over the radio and Olivia was quite surprised because for the first time, she liked this kind of music. Although before, he never liked any music. Olivia had closed her eyes and felt herself very calm and comfortable with classical music playing slowly and softly playing just like that.

Jason's smile was perfect again. His heart felt happy when Olivia enjoyed the music playing. The man was driving his car at a moderate speed towards his apartment. Yes. Olivia today had to meet someone who really wanted to see her.

 ***

Olivia stared at the apartment door that was right in front of her. Then her gaze shifted to Jason again. The man seemed to understand with Olivia's gaze, rushing to type the password on his apartment door.

"The person looking for you is inside. Come in," Jason said calmly.

"Can I really trust you?" Olivia asked.

"If you don't believe me, why come with me this far?" Jason asked back.

Olivia was already sighing softly. The woman was too curious and finally agreed to do what Jason said to come here. And the man didn't force her to come at all. Everything is Olivia's own will. The woman took a deep breath before actually stepping into Jason's apartment.

The apartment is not very big but very neatly arranged, of course very different from the room with Andrew. Even though it's big, Olivia needs the help of some household assistants to clean it up.

Olivia's gaze was now on a woman sitting on the sofa. Her gaze fell on the TV that was playing the news. Feeling stared at, the woman now averted her gaze. The blue eyed woman was quite surprised by Olivia's presence. That meant Jason took his word for it.

"You've come apparently. Sit down," said the woman calmly without a smile. Just a flat face.

Olivia was still where she was standing at the moment. Her blue eyes were completely shocked. The woman really looked like him. Very very similar. Even anyone who saw her would be convinced that Olivia and the woman were twins.

"She's the one who really wants to see you," Jason told the woman. Olivia followed Jason and also sat on the sofa this time.

"Okay. Now it's your turn, Patricia," said Jason, now getting up from the sofa. "I'll make a drink," continued the man who had already stepped into the kitchen.

After Jason left, Olivia remained silent and looked at the woman from head to toe. "Andrew took really good care of you and made you this beautiful," the woman muttered.

Olivia looked at the woman right in front of her again. The woman gave a sad expression every time she complimented Olivia. Something was definitely wrong with that woman. "So, what did you really want to say that made me come here?" Olivia asked bluntly. Patricia's smile had faded now.

"You're still the same as you used to be very forthright despite having more fears than me,” Patricia replied.

Jason had now brought the tray of Americanos and placed them on the table. "Just tell Olivia everything. Looks like she'll be very prepared for it," Jason said as he looked at Patricia who was still a little hesitant. The woman took a deep breath before finally looking back at her twin sister.

"I am your twin sister who survived the incident 8 years ago," said Patricia honestly. For a moment Olivia tried to digest Patricia's words to her.

Now Olivia's soft laugh was heard. "Are you kidding me? I don't have twins! I'm the only child from my family who had an accident 8 years ago," Olivia said disapprovingly. Even though Patricia was physically very similar to him, acknowledging her as his twin sister was a different matter. Could it be that they don't look very similar but come from different families?

"That's what Andrew told you to lie to you! But that's not what actually happened! It was that man and his family who did everything to us mom and dad," said Patricia angrily.

"Calm down. You promised to say it gently to Olivia," said Jason who was now trying to calm Patricia who had gotten up from the sofa and was acting very angry.

"If it's just bullshit you're going to say. I'm leaving," Olivia said getting up from the sofa and taking her red bag intending to get out of Jason's apartment as soon as possible. However, Patricia held it back.

"You have to listen to you just this once! Check the room inside Andrew's study! I'm not telling you a lie. That man is the one who has torn us apart and is making me suffer right now!" Patricia couldn't hide her anger and disappointment at this moment.

"I won't listen to you!"

Olivia's blue eyes now sharpened and stared at Jason. "You're fired!"

And after that the woman just walked away from the apartment and walked towards the elevator. Olivia really couldn't believe such shocking nonsense. Andrew lied to her? That's impossible!
