Ch 65 - I Know My Limits

Tyson was getting impatient with his sister. Despite his warning, she didn’t seem to see the urgency in delivering the news he needed to him.

What he didn’t know was that Isla had no one to ask. With everything being as busy as it was, no one was answering any questions.

Especially about the whereabouts of Charice.

While she’d endured abuse from Tyson, most people hadn’t forgotten how she’d treated them before. They were glad she wasn’t being abused anymore, but they still kept their distance from her.

So, to find out that she’d left on her own, didn’t quite trigger any alarm bells with anyone.

If anything, most of them just assumed that she’d left to get away from Tyson in the first place. They figured that she wanted to get as far away as possible.

Isla spotted Cain, whom she hadn’t seen in days, and she headed in his direction. He was talking to someone else, and she waited for them to be done. When he turned to her, there was a scowl on his face.

“Isla?” he spoke.

“Hi. Do you know
