Hera is waiting for her mother's administrative details. Ah, of course, she feels so happy and eager to finish everything soon. She has also met with the Doctor who is taking care of her mother.

"I heard directly from the Doctor, if Mom is getting better, then I can take Mom back home," Hera murmured. She was even impatient to bring her mother back home.

Hera smiled as she received a piece of paper there. She accepted it enthusiastically. Ah, finally, all the administrative details of her mother's hospitalization have been settled.

"Thank you," Hera murmured as she was about to get up from her seat, but suddenly she bumped into a Doctor who was walking towards her. Yes, they were walking in opposite directions, of course.

"Hera?"

Feeling that the Doctor knew her, Hera immediately raised her head. Her eyes widened, "Thomas?"

The man named Thomas smiled broadly, "Oh my, we meet here. How are you?"

Hera smiled upon hearing that. Yes, Thomas was one of her old school friends. They seemed quite close until one incident made them strangers to each other.

"I'm fine, how about you, Doc?" Hera teased instantly, and of course, the man chuckled.

"Just call me Thomas. And of course, I'm fine, just a bit sleepy due to the impromptu work I had to do last night," Thomas replied.

Their conversation continued until Hera realized that Thomas was one of the assistant doctors at the hospital. Of course, his father was a Doctor.

"I'm sorry about that, and I hope your mother gets well soon," Thomas said upon hearing the news about Hera's mother.

"Thank you, Thomas. By the way, you can continue your work. You must be very busy, right?" Hera said, feeling guilty to continue their conversation at the moment.

"Oh, it's okay. I'm enjoying my lunch break. Even until the afternoon. And, where is your mother's room? Can I come along to visit?" Thomas asked then.

"Of course, Doc. Let's go," Hera replied with a chuckle, and then walked ahead, followed by Thomas, who looked amused.

Upon entering her mother's room, Hera continued to greet her mother, who was still asleep on the bed.

"Your mother will be fine. Don't worry," Thomas whispered.

Yes, Thomas was a man well-known to her mother. This was because during their school days, Thomas had visited Hera's house several times to borrow books or work on group projects, considering that if compared further, Thomas admitted that Hera was smarter than him.

"Thank you again. If you're not busy, could you please visit my mother and occasionally check on her? It seems like I have to go to work soon," Hera said then.

Thomas, who was looking at her intently, nodded, "Of course. Leave it all to me. Has there been a nurse taking care of your mother?"

Hera nodded, "Of course. Mom is not alone during her hospital stay."

"That's good to hear. But, do you need a ride to work today?" Thomas asked as they reached outside the room.

"No need. Enjoy your break, Thoms," Hera replied. Yes, only she was allowed to call him Thoms so far.

Thomas, upon hearing that, laughed, "You even still remember it. It feels nice."

After that brief conversation, Hera bid farewell and hurriedly went to Dv Resto. Apparently, she got the afternoon shift today.

"Hera, wait a moment."

Hera stopped her steps and then turned around. Apparently, Thomas was walking towards her this time.

"Can I save your phone number?" Thomas asked, holding out his phone to Hera.

Hera nodded and smiled, "Oh, of course."

After giving her phone number, Thomas smiled at her and then stored her number, "Thank you."

Hera couldn't stop smiling this time. Ah, her meeting with Thomas was so sudden.

She was quite surprised because Thomas had changed drastically. In fact, she didn't recognize him at first. Fortunately, Hera remembered Thomas's eye color and the way Thomas looked at her.

"Okay, it seems someone is feeling happy. Can you share that happiness with me? Just a little, because I'm feeling angry with the drama series last night," Jessy said suddenly, leaning near the refrigerator this time.

Hera, looking at her, immediately chuckled, "I just met my old friend. He has changed so much. I didn't even recognize him. And now, he has become a doctor."

Jessy widened her eyes, "Wow, that's great news. I'm sure he's a handsome guy."

"How do you know?" Hera asked, curious.

"A woman wouldn't smile alone if she's just thinking about another woman. Except if she's turning," Jessy muttered, and of course, Jessy was always good at guessing Hera's feelings.

"You're always right," Hera said afterward.

"How does he look? Even he seems to have succeeded in making my best friend smile alone. He must be quite charming," Jessy guessed.

Quickly, Hera took her phone from her pants pocket. Coincidentally, an hour ago, Thomas had sent her a short message, and there he also showed his private profile picture.

"You can judge for yourself," Hera said as she handed her phone to Jessy.

Jessy's eyes widened when she saw Thomas's appearance.

"Oh my dragon, this guy is more than attractive. He's handsome and.. sexy," Jessy murmured, not even blinking as she looked at Thomas's profile picture on Hera's phone.

"I suspected as much. He's handsome, isn't he?" Hera teased afterward.

"Absolutely perfect. He even suits you well, Hera. Hasn't he asked you out for dinner? Or just to watch a movie? Ah, no. Don't watch a movie, because I don't recommend that activity. I'm currently hating the drama series I've been watching so far. You know, the woman was dumped just like that by the man who took her virginity. So mean, I'm too lazy to watch it further," Jessy said then, continuing to talk extensively about the drama series she was watching.

Hera fell silent upon hearing that. Somehow she felt offended this time. Moreover, Hera could still feel the pain down there. Sean did it so passionately and relentlessly.

"Okay, I hope everything is done," Hera muttered suddenly.

"What's wrong, Hera? I've finished talking," Jessy said, looking confused.

Feeling embarrassed, Hera shook her head and quickly apologized that she didn't mean to offend Jessy.

"Okay, just relax. Do you have free time tonight? There seems to be an exhibition nearby, would you like to go with me?" Jessy asked.

"Really? Oh, of course I-"

Ping!

Hera immediately checked her phone at that moment. There she found a message from Sean, which was, of course, very short, concise, and not clear enough.

"Can we meet this afternoon?"

"I can't. I'm sorry, Jessy," Hera continued afterward after reading the message from Sean sent to her. She also replied to him there.

Would they engage in another hot scene today?
