Sean sighed heavily as he read the name displayed on his phone screen at the moment.

Eventually, Sean accepted the call.

"Yes, hello."

"Ah, here's the one Mom has been waiting for since earlier. Are you so busy that it took you quite a while to answer this call?"

Sean fell silent for a moment upon hearing that. He was sure that question was the main thing to be asked of him.

"Yes, I'm very busy."

"But you can still chat with Nick apparently. Busy from where, do you mean?"

Sean glanced at Nick instantly, and there Nick seemed to just chuckle as Sean looked at him sharply.

"Not much, just accompany Mom for lunch today. You can also bring someone, maybe a woman you want to introduce to Mom?"

Sean immediately checked some restaurants there on his computer. After that, he made a reservation for three people.

The call ended after that. He then sighed in annoyance and after that got up to stand.

"Come on, Nick. You have to come with me," Sean said instantly.

"But where are we going?" Nick asked with a puzzled look.

"For lunch," Sean replied. He was quite annoyed and finally decided not to wear his suit. Somehow it felt so hot all of a sudden.

"Wow, okay. But where?" Nick asked, getting up. Of course, he was so happy when Sean invited him somewhere, wherever it was. Because Sean always ordered or bought something luxurious. Ah, besides, who doesn't like luxury?

"In the next city," Sean replied.

"What? Why so far? Just for lunch?" Nick exclaimed immediately.

"Just come and don't talk too much, understand?" Sean said instantly, and of course Nick just nodded upon hearing it.

Of course, Sean deliberately chose a restaurant that was very far away this time. He intentionally wanted to delay the time and make his mother as upset as possible, even his mother might not come due to the distance from Sean's chosen restaurant being so far.

After a quite long journey, Sean and Nick finally arrived at their destination.

"Your restaurant choices are never wrong. It's just that the distance is so far, we're even two hours late for lunch today," Nick muttered immediately.

"I don't care," Sean said and then got out of his car.

Sean and Nick walked towards the restaurant. Even the place seemed quiet because the visitors had finished their lunch earlier. Of course, because the two of them arrived very late for lunch that day.

After a while, Sean decided to open the menu that had been provided. But this time his mind was not focused at all on reading all the available menus.

"Oh, goodness. Why did you have to choose a restaurant so far from New York?"

The question made Sean and Nick turn to the source of the voice, and there Nick was smiling broadly.

"Oh, hi, Beautiful Mom. So you also came to this restaurant," Nick said so warmly. Of course, they were more familiar with each other than Sean was with his own mother.

Sean didn't respond at all to his mother's presence among them. Moreover, since earlier, his mother couldn't sit still. She always looked around the three of them, as if looking for something.

"Where is the girl you promised, Sean? Don't change the subject, Mom!" Sean's mother insisted.

"She's not here," Sean replied, still holding back his anger this time.

After that, his mother's anger. This, of course, made Sean very angry.

Suddenly, Sean decided to leave the restaurant without saying a word.

"SEAN! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! HEY!"

"Mom, just let it be. I'll talk to Sean after this. It's better if we have lunch first," Nick said, trying to restrain the woman. And of course, she just nodded and followed Nick's words.

On the other hand, Sean was now in his car. He didn't know where he would go after that because he didn't have a destination this time. Moreover, he hadn't eaten lunch yet.

"It takes two hours to return to New York, enough time to arrive there in the afternoon," Sean muttered to himself while staring at his phone screen.

However, for some reason, his fingers searched for a contact named "Hera" there. He smiled when he read the name displayed there.

"Hera, a beautiful name. It suits its owner," Sean murmured instantly.

For a while, Sean stared at his phone screen, until suddenly his fingers started typing a message to Hera there.

"Can we meet this afternoon?"

Sean sighed heavily after sending that short message.

"Why did you choose to send a short message to her instead?" Sean murmured, realizing afterwards.

Suddenly, he received a short message there when he was about to drive his car.

Quickly, Sean checked it.

"Of course. Just send me the location, I'll be there soon."

Sean smiled. Ah, even Hera replied so quickly.

"Don't you realize that you've caught my attention, Hera?" Sean murmured while sending an address to Hera.

Hera's shift was over. This time she prepared herself to go to a location that Sean had sent to her a few hours ago.

The woman turned and then smiled at David who entered the kitchen area.

"Oh, hi. David," Hera greeted the man.

"Are you going home now?" David asked.

"Yes, I'm going home," Hera replied politely, as usual.

David fell silent for a moment after that, "Are you busy tonight?"

Hera fell silent for a moment. Ah, she couldn't even fulfill Jessy's invitation earlier, let alone with David's offer now?

"Sorry David, but I'll be busy tonight. There's something I need to take care of," Hera replied afterward.

David smiled and nodded, "No problem."

Hera smiled and then left the kitchen.

"Okay, I won't give up," David muttered to himself.
