Maya POV

“Well you’re nowhere to be found and I want to have fun, I shouldn't have to wait for you before I enjoy myself.” I muttered as though it was another part of me speaking in slurry tones but it was all the tequila.

The hard expression on Malcolm's face dropped and his eyes softened.

“Get lost man, you left her and now I'm going to give her what she wants.” Micheal said and Malcolm exhaled quietly and turned to him.

“I'm not going to try and fight you so let her go.”

“No.”

Oh oh, Micheal was crossing the line and he was pushing his mercy more than intended, and it was only a matter of time before Malcolm made him eat his words.

“I’m not asking, Anya, let's go.” he said and I walked away from Micheal with a sorry expression on my face, it was best to save him the trouble of dealing with the Malcolm and regretting it but he held into my wrists tightly.
