“The splinx?” Lucas asked, clearly confused by what it means. My expression should’ve mirrored his but I wasn’t confused.

Infact, I was very aware of what the dark object was. It was amongst the things developed by the tech teams in the association, every hunter past the sapphire rank is aware of what it is but the thing was, we never actually saw the thing in real life. It was kept locked away in one of the facilities, there was no way anyone could get to it, especially Cole now that he was out of the association.

“Yes, that device is the answer we need.” Kevin said, retreating back in the embrace of the women who sat beside him.

“Why not get another witch to deactivate the spell?” Another voice asked as the man in black suit walked in through another opening. He had dark glasses covering his eyes and two men following behind him in similar attire.

“It’s not that easy Henry, with what you’ve done to the witches in this region they’ve all gone into hiding.
