Aanya's heart stopped for a moment. The reason for her fright was the fact that he caught up to her and might get her to tell him about Ghista. She tried to wiggle away from his grip, but that was almost impossible, judging from the fact that he was bent on getting the truth out of her.

“Let go of me,” she said breathlessly, trying her best to avoid making eye contact with him. That was her weakness and she knew it.

“Aanya” he called out, but she wasn't going to hear anything he had to say. The amount of fear she felt inwards was preventing her from thinking properly. Moving far away from him will make things easier for the two of them. To avoid being killed or him being killed, she needed to stop whatever was going on between them, but that wasn't happening because he wouldn't let her go.
