Chapter 13

Aanya squeezed her eyes tightly shut as she continually tossed around the bed. She pressed her lips together as she tried her best to bear the pain, incessantly wiping the sweat that poured out of her forehead. This wasn't the first time she noticed these signs. It had always been like that since she was in Ghista and anytime she tried to tell the executives about it, they brushed it off, calling her annoying.

The door to her room opened. She didn't have the strength to turn around to see who it was. Her instincts sensed it was Madison.

She finally appeared when the show was over, her brother almost died, and she never showed up. Aanya shook her head.

Aanya turned inquisitively to the other side when she realized Madison was still standing by the door. Aanya eyes met with a remorseful Madison, who just stood there with a weary look in her eyes. She looked at Aanya with saddened eyes, and it caused Aanya to stare every other place but her, out of nervousness.
