SERENITY'S POV

I wake up and start looking around to get my bearings. At first there is only darkness around me, then everything starts moving like when you turn a kaleidoscope, when I'm suddenly sitting on the soft grass next to a beautiful lake with mist hanging over the water in a valley filled with trees and wildflowers and benches next to the lake.

I feel a nudge to my right hand I look down to find my wolf laying next to me. I lift my hand up and she puts her head in my lap.

I gently start stroking her head while I just sit there and listen to the peace and quite.

I feel calm and at peace wherever I am. I feel no pain, fear or any other negative emotion I normally feel, all I feel is absolutely peace.

I look down at my wolf's head in my lap "where are we Artemis? Why don't I feel any pain" I say to my wolf.
