Chapter twenty two.

Kathy stared at the key card in disbelief.

Was he offering her a place to stay in his penthouse for free?! She couldn't believe her eyes.

"Sir…I don't need this. My current place is just fine."

Dominic gazed around the small living room and shook his head, a hint of disdain on his face.

"I expected someone as smart and experienced as you are to aspire for something greater than this,” he uttered bluntly and Kathy was deeply offended.

Her apartment was the only affordable option available to her at the moment. She hadn't been with Henderson Corp for long and had very little money in her account. Yet, despite her condition, he sounded so ignorant as though she had willingly chosen a life of poverty for herself. Despite her annoyance, she decided not to show it.

"I appreciate your kindness, Sir, but my financial situation doesn't allow me to live in a fancy apartment. This place is affordable for me, and I am not living here because I have a choice, neither do I like it here," Kath
