"Welcome to the party, Miss Kathy," Mr. Wade greeted Kathy warmly. "Feel free to make yourself at home and help yourself with the food and drinks. Don't be shy."

"Thank you, Mr. Mcmillan," Kathy responded politely.

As a new guest arrived, Mr. Wade acknowledged Dominic with a nod before turning his attention to the other attendees.

"He is currently the biggest client of Henderson Corp. and was one of the first to invest in me. Without him, Henderson Corp would not have made it this far," Dominic explained.

Kathy understood this well. Without capital, even the best ideas remained mere potential. However, capital wouldn't favor good ideas that couldn't create value. A company's success is linked to its founders, ideas, and capital.

"Did Mr. Mcmillan not make any demands on you back then?" Kathy asked, her brow furrowing.
