Jack played with Annette's hand, intertwining his fingers, thinking about what had happened the last few days. He was lucky to find a hospital similar to the one he had seen in a metal box. Jack had been unconscious for two days and was recovering fast, it wasn't the first time he had been beaten to death, but it was the first time Annette had been shot.

He never let a guard hurt Annette in that dark place, even less when Bibi died.
