“I love you,” I breathe out the words I’ve longed to say. This is the reason seeing him kiss another girl broke me more than it should, the agony in my heart, for I love this boy. “I love you the moment you punch Chuck for asking me out. I love you since you were teasing me on my pink tutu, Jake.”
He chuckled and the sound of his laughter made me feel my heart thumping with happiness inside my chest.
