Chapter 35: RETURNING TO WHERE WE BEGAN

Joanna's POV

Sprawled on the floor was Axen. She had blacked out from excess alcohol and according to the chauffeur, she told him to drive her to Chris's house.

Chris carried her in his arms to the guest room, he pleaded with me to undress her and clean her up. I did as he said grudgingly and left them alone to sleep.
