Chapter 73

Lexi’s pov

Hearing vicious growling I hurried toward the sound.

Gritting my teeth at seeing Nolan on the ground with his neck bloody and torn, my face contorted in panic. Nathan stood over him protecting him from some snarling-looking monstrosity that looked like a rabid dog.

My eyes narrowed as I studied the scene and glanced upward at the tree branches hanging overhead.

“There's several hundred of my kind scattered within this area, boy. Killing me won't even make a dent in our numbers,” the hybrid bastard snarled.

My eyes widened at that news as I looked at Nathan shaking his head.

“You think a sneak attack would work,’’ I asked my wolf and she growled a yes at me.

“Do like Lenny did, dear. The art of surprise should be beneficial for this fight,” she huffed.

Climbing up the tree I made my way carefully over Nathan and positioned myself over his foe.

Dropping from the tree branch I landed on the asshole's shoulders and tightened my legs around his neck.
