Lexi’s pov

Getting situated in the passenger seat of Nolan’s vehicle I glanced over at him.

“Want to tell me what happened,” I asked him as he started the engine.

He chuckled once and glanced at me.

“I took the hybrids that Ríoghán was collecting. Thanks to Lennox's added memories I knew exactly what I needed to do to accomplish it,” he said gleefully.

“What happened with his mate and daughter?”

His jaw tensed as he sped up.

“She was sent back to her section to rule as a kingless queen with her daughter,” he answered me.

Nodding, I told him that was merciful for him to do.

Snickering, he shrugged and said, “I had to take the hearts and heads of several of the pack members because they didn't submit as they should have and I could have used a few of them for my guards.”
