Chapter 9

Five months passed and nothing much changed. Holland and I became friends again but we're not as close anymore. Mike is still trying to get back with me no matter how much I reject him. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF HIM!

Ever since that night, Lupus always wants to hold me everytime we sleep. It still doesn't feel right but I also got used to it. It's really soothing listening to his heartbeat as a lullaby.

But on specific nights he'd leave me sleeping and go somewhere. I don't know where though. He'd return early in the morning looking exhausted and worn out. I don't ask anything though. I just go with the flow. But that doesn't mean I'm not curious.

Right now I'm heading home from writing a Math paper. I was NOT prepared. I'm sure I'm not gonna pass 70%. I'll maybe get 66%.

"Can I walk with you?" Mike spoke from the back. As usual, I ignored him until we got to my mailbox. He held my hand before I could walk to the door. "Why don't you just accept me back? You're single and I'm single
