10. Only the beginning.

Adrian's POV

I had hoped my flight back home would be a quick one as I had other engagements waiting for me by the time I return but the universe had other plans for me that day.

I arrived at the airport early for my flight, only to be told that it had been delayed due to a terrible weather and all that nonsense. My plans were ruined and as angry as I was about the sudden turn of events, there was nothing much I could do about it.

I immediately booked a motel since all the hotels were far out in town and I couldn't afford going back to the resort due to the distance.

Thankfully, I was lucky enough to get the last available room. Plus the distance between the motel and the airport was incredibly convenient for me.

I didn't hesitate to head down to it and get settled in. I was about to order for my breakfast when I received a phone call that had me bolting out of the room immediately.
