Prólogo

There's music, sort of like a choir in church, then I heard someone and he told me to go outside.

I closed my eyes, and the moment I opened them, the scenario changed, and I felt like I was falling, as if I were entering a hidden part of myself.

The next thing I knew, I found myself in an empty, dark room.

There's a man's voice, and it sounded familiar to me.

I took a step closer to the source of the voice, and there stood in front of me a man wearing a masquerade mask.

I only saw his thin lips because of the mask he was wearing.

"Are you afraid?" he asked.

His voice was deep, with a serious tone.

He stepped forward and I trembled. My heart pounded against my chest.

I couldn't move my body.

He stepped closer, but I couldn't move my feet.

I wanted to shout, but I couldn't.

I asked, finally.

He laughed. "Hindi na importante kung sino ako."

"Please, tell me... who are you?"

Again, my heart pounded so fast when he removed the masquerade mask he's wearing.

It's him again.

His eyes were a mesmerizing deep ocean blue with silvery flecks. His features were sculpted from granite, and his face was strong and defined.

His eye brows were dark, which sloped downwards in a serious expression.

That was insane. It sent shivers down my back.

"Who are you?" I asked him again.

"It isn't necessary to know who I am."

His hands suddenly clasped mine as he stared deeply into my eyes. "I'm only here to warn you."

His lips brushed my ear as he spoke, "You must keep a secret if you don't want to die."

The next thing I knew?

He had slammed his lips to mine and nearly knocked all wind from my lungs.
