Willow’s POV My eyes fluttered open as I heard the morning birds singing a beautiful melody outside the open window as the cool morning breeze brushed over my skin. I sat up abruptly looking around the room remembering where I had fallen asleep last night and whose arms I was in but to my surprise I was in my own room in my own bed alone. Was it all a dream? Or had Beta Shawn returned me back to my own room at some point in the night? I touched my lips as if I could still feel his kiss upon them and knew that it couldn’t have been a dream. Willow’s POV We stood there for a moment just looking at each other until Beta Shawn went to the edge of the ring and grabbed a pair of basketball shorts to put on. Chance’s POV “Are you sure she is getting ready?” I asked Beta Shawn as I waited in the foyer for Willow to descend the stairs so we could leave for the ceremony. “I sent Izzy to work her magic and you know how Izzy is.” Beta Shawn tells me, and I am now worried for Willow. Willow’s POV Beta Shawn escorted me into the next room where the Lunas were all sitting at a table together. Willow’s POV Both men turned and looked at me, both with questioning eyes. My next words felt like they came out as a studder when I finally said, “I can’t do this.” Panic filled me and I began to breathe heavily. I needed to get out of this room and make a run for it, but they were blocking my only exit. Alpha Chance stepped in my direction with his hands out towards me and said, “Willow, you need to calm down.” I stepped back not wanting him to touch me because I knew if he did the mate bond would take over. Willow’s POV With those three little words, Alpha Chance’s lips were on mine and he scooped me up and carried me to the bed as the room was now filled with the moon light that now beamed through the window as the storm trails off. As if the Moon Goddess herself was giving our union approval as she beamed her beautiful light upon us. Alpha Chance gently laid me onto the bed as he stood to remove the last of his own clothing. Willow’s POV Unfortunately, all things good had to come to an end and we had to remove ourselves from the bed but Alpha Chance took care of me while we got a showered and got ready to face our first day as a mated couple. As we descended the stairs on our way to breakfast with smiles on both of our faces, I realized that I was about to enter a whole new world I wasn’t expecting to be a part of. Chance’s POV The ride home to Red Moon was a quiet one as I watched Beta Shawn stealing glances at Willow. I knew there was something he was feeling towards my mate, but I knew because she was my mate that he felt a need to resist her.
