Chapter 107

Chance’s POV

After the Lunas and pups had left for the Sun Witches’ home, we began to prepare for the worse. There was a good chance that the Moon Witch would return, especially since Celeste was still here in our world. Alpha Hunter wasn’t taking any chances and he had every wolf he had posted around the packhouse as the Sun Witches and a few of the Canyon Ridge Witches put up wards around the premises waiting for her to show her face.

When everything was in place Alpha Hunter and I stood guard together waiting for her on the front stoop of the packhouse. Night was falling and we had gotten word that the Lunas and pups had safely reached the Sun Witches’ town and were safe for the night. A bit of relief filled me knowing that Willow was safe and that Shawn was with her. A part of me was jealous that he was there with her, but I knew I had to be here with Alpha Hunter to protect not only Willow but all wolf kind.
