Syrill's POV

I sit on the couch, watching my beautiful mate and our son, Adren, cuddle up together while they watch the cool breeze blowing outside the window. It is a moment like these that reminds me of how blessed I am to have them in my life. They are my greatest gift from the moon goddess.

All of a suddenly, Angela's peaceful expression turns to a grimace of pain, and her screams fill the room. I jump up, alarmed, and rush to her side.

"Angela, what's wrong?" I ask urgently, placing my hand on her belly.

"My water just broke, Alpha." she gasps out between breaths. "It's time."

I feel a sense of panic and excitement mix together in my chest. This is it, the moment we've been waiting for. I scoop her up in my arms and quickly make my way to the car. Looking back at me, I see little Adren running after us as I take quick steps out of the room.
