Lillo's POV

I hear the knock on the door and feel a surge of reluctance, but I still get up to answer it. Kryl and Rowan were here! I open the door with a wide grin on my face.

"Hey, guys! Come on in," I greet them cheerfully, stepping back to let them into my home.

As they walk in, I notice Kryl's expression change. His eyes narrow as he looks past me to the living room. My heart sinks as his eyes meet his.

"Lillo, who is he?" Kryl asks, his voice tight.

I hesitate, not sure how to answer. "Uh, just a friend," I say, hoping to diffuse the situation.

But Kryl doesn't look convinced. "A friend?" he repeats, his tone becoming more aggressive.

Rowan steps in, trying to ease the tension. "Hey, man, let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe we should sit down and talk about this."
