Chapter 16- Worst moment

Welbeck's body was weak, and every step he took was a struggle. The weight of his illness bore down on him, leaving him physically and emotionally drained. With each passing day, his condition deteriorated further, and the medical bills continued to pile up, adding to his mounting anxiety.

Feeling a deep sense of desperation, Welbeck made his way to the living room where his mother-in-law, Madam Charlotte, sat comfortably on her elegant couch, surrounded by luxury. Her demeanor exuded an air of superiority, and she always made sure to remind Welbeck of his lowly status compared to her wealthy acquaintances.

Welbeck approached her, his hands trembling, and his voice barely above a whisper. "Madam Charlotte, I am in dire need of your help. I need money for my hospital treatment. Without it, I fear I won't be able to afford the care I desperately require."
