43: Labyrinth

The air was freezing cold and I had no idea where I was. I was in a dark room with no window or door. I took a step forward. Then, I took another. A door suddenly appeared in front of me, bright light illuminating the room that was once so dark. I took a deep breath and made my way towards the exit of the room.

Once I stepped out of the room, I was surprised to find myself in the middle of Hera's courtyard. Hera was speaking to two other women I could recognize. Cordelia, the goddess of water and Nyx, the goddess of the night. The three women were sitting under the tree of discord.

"There's something I discovered today" Hera began and the other two women raised their brows.

"What is it? Did you perhaps find out who the new guard really is?" Nyx asked.

"Of course, I did. I discovered that his mother had given him a different name apart from the one given to him by the Fates" Hera said and my frown deepened. I had no clue about what she was talking about.
