Annoyed 

"Come back here, young lady!" he shouted. 

I rolled my eyes and continued walking. My mistakes are the only reason why he is talking to me. talking nga ba?

Hinigit niya ang aking kamay, rason upang bigla akong humarap sakanya. I didn't have any choice but to forcefully removed his hand from mine. 

"Ano nanaman ba ang ginawa mo?" He shouted at me "You almost sen that man to his deathbed, Elin!" 

With brows furrowed and eyes full with anger I look at him. 

"Why do you think that it was my fault?!" I shouted back 

He chuckled without humor "You almost killed that man,  Savannah Elin" 

Wow. I couldn't be more amusing now that my father thinks I'm am at fault because I almost killed that guy, It's his fault kung hindi sana niya ako hinipuan at binastos ay hindi kami aabot sa ganun. 

"He was fucking harassing me, Dad!" I said lowly "Ano pang silbi na nag training ako sa iba't-ibang pang self-defense kung hindi ko gagamitin?!" 

"Kung bakit naman kasi ganyan ang suot mo!" 

My mouth went dry and my eyes watered, he was blaming me for wearing something that I am comfortable at. 

"Wow," I muttered, "Your victim blaming? Talaga ba, Dad!?" 

"No, it's not like that, Anak" he shouted 

I ran my way towards my bedroom and covered myself with my comforter. 

Fucking life 

My life shouldn't be a life. 

This is hell. 

I turned myself on the other side of my bed, only to find a picture of me and my mother. I smiled unconsciously and grabbed it. 

"Hi, Mommy," I said and smiled "I miss you" 

My Mom died, I couldn't stop myself but blame my father. He focused too much on holding power that he forgot that the power he holds put his Family in danger. 

Life was never easy for me when I lost her. I was nowhere near 'okay.' I will always remember how my Mother was tortured and raped in front of me. How those bastards touch every part of her body to take revenge on my Father's power. But he is my Father, I couldn't change that. I still love him. 

Dahil sa kakaiyak ay nakaulugan ko na ito. 

I woke up with swollen eyes. I looked at the watch and saw that it was already 6 o'clock in the evening. I decided to have a quick shower to freshen myself. 

Habang nag-aayos ng aking sarili ay may kumatok sa pinto ng aking kuwarto. I rolled my eyes and opened the door.

"What is it?" I asked the maid softly

Masungit ako pero hindi sakanila. Like hello! Mabait naman ako. and I may be stubborn but still I love my Dad, siya nalang ang meron ako. 

"Sabay daw po kayong kumain ng Daddy niyo po" 

I just nodded and went out of my room to go and eat dinner with my Father. But I was stunned when I saw a woman sitting beside him. I raised my eyebrows to show how I wanted to question the women sitting.

I sat across from them and smiled without humor. My father cleared his throat to get my attention so I looked at him with a smirk. 

I don't want to be rude, I will just challenge this woman if she can accept my father even though he has me. 

Bago pa ako makapagsalita ulit ay may babaeng lumabas na galing sa mismong kusina namin, blood went high as I raise my brows. 

Looking at her, I may say that she's the soft version of me. I scoffed as I realize who she is, I'm not dumb. She had my Dad's eyes but softer, her small face was another reason why she has softer features than mine, Her S-shaped eyebrows that perfectly complimented her hazel brown eyes, and her pink full shaped lips. She smiled sweetly at me. 

"Cassandra," she said as she held her hand. I just ignored it. 

I smirked at her and look at her Mother "Let me guess" I said "Your my Father's Mistress" I laughed "Ofcourse magiging asawa ka na ngayon dahil wala na yung asawa niya na pinabayaan niya dahil-" 

I know I was rude, but looking at it My Dad cheated when my Mom was still alive. 

before I could finish my sentence I heard Dad's voice thundered inside the whole room. Napabaling ang aking mukha sa gilid dahil sa lakas, I couldn't move. 

Agad lumapit saakin si Cassandra at hinawakan ang kamay ko. 

"Are you okay?" hindi ako agad nakasagot sakanya dahil sa gulat. 

"What the fuck?" she shouted that startled me "You didn't have to shout at her, she was shocked na mayroon ka ng bago! I mean My Mom was literally your Mistress!" her Mom sushed her but she didn't listen 

"Ofcourse, what do you know about taking care of your daughter? You only think of the power that you want to hold!" 

I was shocked, I didn't know what to do or even say! I was literally being dragged outside the house by her! 

"I'm sorry" she said and smiled a little "I'm Cassandra but you can call me Cassie"

"Savannah Elin" I said and smiled

"I'm older than you" she sighed "I thought I was the legal child but then that old man started to not show at our house anymore, that's when I realized that my Mother was the Mistress" She stated 

"I hate him" she sighed "But I still love him, tatay ko pa rin siya" 

I sighed too. Even though I hate Dad because of the past, A part of me still says that He is my father and I still love him for that. 

"same here"

We smiled at each other and looked at the sky that was full of stars, I sighed and closed my eyes to imagine that my Mom was just around. 

"Yung Mama mo na yung pinakamabait na tao na nakilala ko" 

I look at her with questions in my eyes 

"You knew her?" 

She looked at me and nodded "Pumupunta siya sa bahay noon kapag out of the country si Dad, She knew that my Mother was the mistress but still she befriended her" 

My eyes watered knowing how my Mom was this kind to others. 

"Nong una nahihiya pa si Mama, pero nong makalipas ng ilang linggo at nalaman ni Mama na buntis siya sayo" she smiled at me and caressed my hair short curly hair softly. 

"Mas inalagaan na ni Mama si Tita Sabrine" 

Tinuloy niya lang ang pagkukuwento at nakikinig lang din ako sa kanya. 

I felt bad about how I treated her a while back. 

I smiled at her and tapped her shoulders "Thank you, Ate" 

I saw her stiffend so I laughed as I hugged her she hugged me back tighter.  I groaned at that as she laughed. 

"Elin?" Someone called from behind, I looked at it and saw Ate Cassie. 

"Po?" I asked 

She smiled sweetly and sat beside Ate Cassie. she just stared at me kaya naasiwa ako. 

"I'm sorry" she said "You literally look like your Mother" 

"Thank you po" 

She just smiled and looked at sky, closed her eyes and opened it again. Kagaya ng ginagawa ko. 

"I miss your, Mom," she said "she never treated me as your Dad's Mistress, she treated me as her best friend. It was weird actually, I was avoiding her but when I learned that she was pregnant with you. I took care of her" 

"but when I learned what happened to her, I was devastated that I had to blame David." 

"I'm sorry for being rude po" I said 

"It's okay, anak" she said, she tapped my shoulder and left.

Ate Cassie continued talking and telling stories after. 

"Miss Elin and Miss Cassandra pinapatawag po kayo ni Sir sa opisina niya" 

"Okay" sabay naming sagot. 

Tumayo na kami at sabay na pumasok sa bahay, habang naglalakad ay nagkwekwentuhan pa kami pareho. Nang malapit na kami sa office ni Papa ay huminga kami ng malalim at saka pumasok. 

"Good Evening," he said 

Cassandra answered the same with a formal voice. I hid my smile when I saw how serious she was. 

My dad cleared his throat. "Cassandra you will handle the restaurant until Elin is done with her school" 

"You can handle the restaurant as long as you want, Ate" I said and smiled at her 

"We can talk about that later" 

Agad akong tumango sakanya at tumingin kay Daddy

"If that's the case what do you want to pursue" 

"Modeling and Singing" 

I was scouted a lot of times and I already have an agency but I stopped for a while to finish my Studies. After that, I will continue it. That was my plan. 

His brows furrowed and looked me in the eye. 

"Then you need to take care of this person if you want to continue that career"

I held the folder and opened it. Nang mabasa ko ito ay tumingin ako sakanya at binato sa kanyang lamesa. 

I was full of range, I couldn't believe that I have to do that to freely enter the career that I want to take. 

"I can't be a fucking bodyguard!" I shouted

"You trained Martial arts and I have higher expectations from you to Run Mercado Agency! do me a fucking favor for once, Savannah Elin!" 

Cassandra took my hand as she pulled me to sit beside her. 

"Calm down" she whispered

I sat beside her. 

"Just until the national Elections, anak" he sighed "I will let you go to the USA again if you do that, without me. I wouldn't bother you anymore" 

"With anyone that I want to bring?" I asked

"Sure, whatever you want, Savannah Elin" 

That was the first time. 

"Okay, but can I go after my Graduation?"

He nodded so I stood up. 

"When is your graduation?" 

"Tomorrow Dad" 

I heard my Sister squeal, another thing about her that is totally different from me is that she is so bubbly. 

"Can I come too?" 

I nodded. 

"Cassandra go and sleep, Elin, Can I talk to you first?" 

I nodded again. 

"Elin, about your Tita Ellaine" he said and sighed, he couldn't continue

"Dad, even though Mom accepted her, A part of it will always hurt that you cheated on her" 

"I know, Anak" he said, he stood up and suddenly kneeled in front of me. 

"Dad!" I exclaimed 

"I loved your Mom. With all that I have, but I also promise your Lolo that I will give more power to your Mom" He sniffed " I wanted to have that power for your Mother, and It was too late to realize that it doesn't matter when it caused her death and your traumas" 

"Dad" I said softly as I helped him sat beside me "Mom is happy, kung nasaan man siya ngayon which is surely Heaven, she is happy right now, and she wouldn't like it if she saw us crying like this" I hugged him tight and whispered "Let Mom rest in peace, Dad" 

The next day, wearing a simple white dress and my Toga, I went outside of my room and went down the staircase only to see my Father looking at the pictures from our Sala. Most of it was our Family photos and Pictures of me and mom together, pictures of me growing up. 

I hugged him from the back and heard him sniff 

"Dad!" I exclaimed, "Are you crying?!" 

Agad agad siyang umling at tumawa ng kaunti, kinuha ang panyo at nagpunas ng mukha. 

I laughed at him and hugged him tighter. 

"You grew up so fast" he hugged me and rested his head on my shoulder. 

"I'm sorry for not being there, Anak" he sniffed and cried harder "I tried to come on time" 

I tried to stop the tears from falling because I was wearing makeup, but I couldn't. 

"It's Okay, Dad"

Kakalas na dapat kami sa yakap ng marinig namin ang tinis sa sigaw ni Ate Cassandra. 

"Pasali!" 

My Dad and I laughed. 

Nakita ko si Tita Elainne na nakatingin lang sa amin habang nakangiti, lumapit ako sakanya at hinigit siya para masali sa yakap. 

"Omay-" she squealed so we laughed at her. 

After the Hug, Ate Cassandra decided to take the time for the photo op. But of course, Ate Cassie needed to retouch my makeup first.

Una ay kami ni Dad, kami ni Ate Cassie, then with Tita Ellaine. 

Meron din yung lahat kami.

After that, we went to the venue. I graduated with a Magna Cum Laude, Political Science. 

My Dad was proud, pagkatapos non, pupunta kami sa aming restaurant para mag celebrate. 

While walking with ate cassie to go to our reserved private lounge, The lights went out.

"What Happened?" 

"I don't know" Ate Answered, "wait here and I will check" 

Sasabihin ko sanang wag na at dito lang siya kaya lang ay nakaalis na ito. I was about to move also when the lights suddenly opened. 

My eyes squinted because of the sudden light. but I was startled. 

"Congratulations!" They shouted

I laughed and saw my Family in front, I went to them and hugged them. Mom, I wish you were here, but I hope your happy of what I have now.
