  She shook her head. \"I didn\'t really kill them.\"

“Then what did you do to them?”

\"I admit that the bankruptcy of the Tang family was my doing. I never graduated from high school but I learned how to trade stocks, I’m not as stupid as you think I am.”

I didn’t see that coming, but trading stocks wasn’t really something one deserves to go to jail for, unless they did so unfairly.

“I deserve an inheritance from the family, too,” she said. “It wasn’t fair that everything was going to be given to you.”

“Me and Marcus,” I corrected her, and added, “and you know it’s just to keep everything intact. Even if you had treated me like shit, I wasn’t going to turn you out to the streets. You would have kept everything you had.” I paused. “I would have sent you back to school, and given you love, if only you let me. We could have been sisters--”

She cut me off. ”He didn\'t want to acknowledge me!”
