　　Tom looked at Joy, and said with a smile, \"Joy, go to the room and count to 100. If you finish counting to 100, we will go to Jobee later!\"

Jobee was short for Jollibee, Joy’s favorite restaurant.

Joy squealed and went into the room, and Tom said to me, \"Turn on the TV.\"

I turned on the TV, and the breaking news was being broadcast.

\"This morning, a woman was found in an abandoned warehouse in the south of the city. The women was covered with bruises and has traces of suspected sexual assault. The woman has been taken into custody.\"

Although the woman’s face had been blurred to protect her identity I still recognized from her body and clothing that it was Maureen.

I was shocked.
