He needed some blood to replenish his energy, and to also help him out for the next two weeks. He wasn’t sure if this young girl was really his mate, and maybe he was granted a second chance mate as he never got to meet his first one. He didn’t want to suffer from blood lust around any humans and he was sure if that orphanage did exit as well as the girl, then he was sure to encounter a lot of humans.

He walked to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, he removed the fresh tray and then opened the secret compartment that was hidden from the human staff which contained blood packs. Lee frowned, he didn’t like the packs but at the moment it was better than scaring the staff for some fresh blood which would lead to the whole household waking up and him explaining what he was doing that early in the morning.

Just after he reheated three packs of the blood and some raw meat his cellphone rang, seeing that it was Michael he asked, “What time?”

“Eight.”

“Good, everything else?”

“It is still too early to see about those, and it is also Sunday which means there are a lot of offices closed today. However, I am already working on an email that can be sent to all the businesses and informing them that a sudden issue has occurred and your immediate attention is needed. The time stipulation of how long the problem might be for is still undetermined and they would have to wait for a follow-up message,” Michael said.

“That could work too. Get James to pick you up and make sure to pick me up by six. From here to the airport is an hour and don’t want to be caught in the Sunday morning traffic.”

“Yes sir,” Michael said and the call was cut again.

Lee looked at the time on his phone, there was still an hour again before James would be here. He then drank the blood that was clotting due to getting cold and ate the raw meat. Lee returned to his room, grabbing a suit jacket, matching pants, a tie, a shirt, clean boxers, a pair of socks, and placed them on the bed before taking his business trip leather shoes and place them next to his bed.

Lee then freshened up himself, he couldn’t be smelling and have bloodstains on his teeth, so he made sure there was no evidence showing what he was to the human eyes. After showering and while dressing, he suddenly had a thought.

‘I have to do this. I need to get that girl, what if she really is my mate, if something happens to her I would indeed hate myself later on after knowing that I had known about her. After getting her I would need to keep her hidden and out of sight, if my family gets to know about her then things wouldn’t be easy. What if she doesn’t want to come with me? I need to think of something. What should I do to get her to come here with me?’

He heard his phone vibrate, he looked at it and saw it was a message from Michael informing him that they had arrived and waiting for him ten feet away from the main gate to enter the family mansion entrance. Lee looked at himself in the mirror and ensured that he looked like he was heading out for a business meeting, he then grabbed his phone charger and the interceptor inside his room before turning on the detector and cameras in his room.

“Where are you going?” he heard his grandfather’s voice when he was about to close the front door, he looked up and saw that his grandfather was now coming into view from at the top of the stairs. His suitcase was already outside and behind the door so he was sure that his grandfather didn’t see it.

“Meeting,” was the one-word answer that he gave his grandfather.

“Best of luck,” his grandfather said, before turning and returning in the direction that he came from.

Lee released a sigh before closing the front door and then taking his suitcase and walking the way to the main gate. It was a good ten minutes’ walk from the house to the main gate with his long legs but he really didn’t want to have the staff informing his grandfather that he was leaving with a suitcase.

When he reached out the gate he saw the car, James was sitting behind the car wheel while Michael was sitting in the passenger seat. Lee walked towards the car, he hit the trunk to indicate for James to open the trunk, after placing his suitcase in the trunk he then got in the back seat.

It was still early and there was still a slight mist that could be seen but that didn’t affect the werewolf that was sitting behind the wheels. “Have the emails been sent out?” Lee asked.

“Just for this week so far, I am presently in the process of sending out the ones for next week,” Michael said while he was busy typing away on the laptop that was on his lap.

“Get it done before we arrive at the airport,” Lee said.

“Will do sir, will do,” Michael answered still looking at the laptop screen and typing.

“James, I want you to have the villa on the mountain ready by the next two weeks. Get a human girl to come and clean out the place. It would also be good if she do some cooking as well,” Lee said.

“Boss, we can get the girl who has been working for you for the past two years,” James said.

“That is fine, just make sure that she is not one of those nosey type girls,” Lee said.

“Anything else?”

“Make sure no one is able to track us down, keep your antennas up at all times. Also, make sure that there are proper protection measures at the villa. Wouldn’t want our guest to be in harm’s way,” Lee said.

“The guest room needs to be prepared?”

“Yes, preferable for a teenage girl, also make sure that her safety would be the top priority. Accordingly, we may have to prepare clothing, clean bedding and I would have to inform you if there is anything else needed.”

“Yes boss, I would keep my phone on at all times. I will also make sure that the transmission is working two hundred percent perfect and no other message than mine to you or Michael and vise vicar.”

“Good, if there is time before we arriving at the airport then stop for us to get a cup of tea and probably something to eat.”

“Yes sir,” James answered.
