CHAPTER 2

Adrian Maximilian was one of the most popular student of Dream high school. And so far the only one nice to Audrey, but to her she views him as a pest.

Because Josephine is in love with him and taking him away from her would only mean war. And she had no army.

He was the only one who could actually hang out with Audrey without anyone telling him he can't.

"What are you doing here?" Audrey asked

"Oh I came to see you, can I come in I'm sure if someone finds me out here it would mean trouble." Adrian said

"Then go to your room." Audrey said coldly

"You know I can't do that."

"Someone's coming please." Adrian said with pleading eyes. Audrey angrily dragged him in and locked the door behind her.

"So?"

"Are you okay?" Adrian asked

"As you can see I'm perfectly fine."

"Are you?" Adrian asked walking closer to her

"Adrian I'm not in the mood for a lecture right now please." Audrey said not wanting to talk about it

"Completely understandable. But... I heard you were bullied by Josephine and Liana."

"So that's why you're here, you should pay Josephine a visit and not me." Audrey said

"I don't care about her she has her friends flocking around her but you have no one."

"And I don't care." Audrey said

"Aurora."

"Don't call me that. If you're done please leave." Audrey said

Adrian didn't care. He was used to her acting that way, he decided to go to her bed and laid down.

"What are you doing?" Audrey asked

"Sleeping." Adrian said nonchalantly

"Sleeping? This is my room."

"I don't care." Adrian said nonchalantly. Angry Audrey walked over and tried pulling him out of her bed but he grabbed her and pulled her into his arms.

"Promise me, you'll come run in the woods with me tomorrow and I'll leave."

"Let me go."

"No, and don't think simply because you're a witch you can blow me away I'm on the bed so pushing me like you did Josephine won't work. Give me the answer I need and I'll go."

"I have to train tomorrow night." Audrey said trying to avoid him

"Just tell him your not feeling well." Adrian suggested

"No."

"I won't let go then." Adrian threatened

"Fine I'll see you at nine don't be late. The usual spot." Audrey finally compromised

"That's my girl."

"Now would you please let go of me." Audrey said

"Sure." Adrian said letting go and then he kissed her on the forehead.

"Good night." He said

"Bastard." Audrey cursed angrily

"Make sure to come." Adrian said rushing out of her room before he gets hit.

*sighs*

Audrey shut the door and went to bed

The next day. In the middle of a class Audrey, Liana, Maxine, and Josephine were called to the principal's office.

"Well ladies you're all going for community service." Nolan said

"What? Dad..."

"As the school principal you're all going and Greta would be joining you."

"Why?" Maxine asked

"As your punishment for yesterday's incident."

"And Greta? Why is she coming?" Josephine asked

"She broke a rule and also deserves to be punished change your clothes into our proper outdoor uniforms and head out."

Josephine walked out first followed by the rest of her crew.

"Principal Nolan you know they are going to bully me out there right?" Audrey said

"Try to keep an open mind dear, and try to get close to them." Nolan suggested

"They'll kill me for sure, can't I just do the dishes for a month." Audrey suggested

"They won't bully you."

"How sure are you?" Audrey asked

"Because they promised they wouldn't."

"Fine." Audrey said leaving after changing her clothes she headed out only to find Adrian near the bus they would be using.

"What are you doing here?" Audrey asked

"Nothing I just wanted to see you before you go."

"I'm not going for a holiday I'm under punishment now would you please leave before Josephine finds you talking to me." Audrey said

"What does she care?" Adrian asked

"For starters she has a crush on you."

"And I don't care about that loud and mean girl. Or her feelings."

"I have to go." Audrey said trying to avoid him but he grabbed her wrist

"Be careful." Adrian said Audrey smiled at him and said

"I will." She got into the bus unknown to her that Josephine had been watching the entire time

She clenched her fists tightly

"Adrian." Josephine called out after fixing her hair and making sure she looks nice.

"Oh, Josephine good luck out there." Adrian said coldly leaving which made Josephine even more infuriated.

"Jo are you okay?" Maxine asked

"I'm fine it's Audrey again. She never let's me have what I want and now she's even seducing Adrian."

"I'm sure we would teach her a lesson today." Liana said

"Guys dad said to behave." Maxine reminded

"We're not going to do anything physical just using a few powers." Liana said

Soon Greta walked into the bus sitting alone as well as Audrey they both sat alone save the three best friend who kept discussing with each other and occasionally laughing.

They didn't like Greta to them she was a weirdo who rarely spoke to people and loved being alone, most of the time. But she still had friends. Who were nerds. Unlike Audrey who wasn't even allowed in the nerd group.

Audrey feeling bored put on her headphone.

"You must be the volunteers from Dream high welcome." A man in his late thirties greeted

"If only we were." Josephine muttered and Liana giggled

Soon they started cleaning and picking up trash.

After a bit of work Liana and Josephine began chanting trying to break Audrey's arm.

"Ah."

Audrey yelled her hands in pain. Gasping for air she fell to the ground holding her arms tight

"Are you okay?" Greta asked since they both paired with each other for the work.

"My arms hurt." Audrey said unable to feel her hand

"Good job Liana I guess two is really better than one." Josephine complemented

Maxine walked over and saw Audrey on the floor with Josephine and Liana smiling

"Please tell me you didn't do that?" Maxine asked walking towards them both.
