P E A R L I had to have heard wrong, right? “Pearl?” I was in hot soup, scalding hot soup. Someone saw me get out of my professor’s car and… wait, why did the voice sound familiar? Very familiar? I quickly turned in the direction of the voice and saw Lee. He was staring at me with an unrecognizable look in his eyes.
