Chapter 7 What Games Are You Playing?

Ms. Thompson nodded. "Yes. Right this way, please."

In the study, Ms. Thompson pushed open the door and said to Tamara, "Miss Simmons, the printer is in here, but you must hurry. Mr. Lynch doesn’t like people entering his study."

Tamara nodded and signed her thanks.

Ms. Thompson waved her away. "I’m just doing my job, Miss Simmons. In you go."

Tamara entered the study and switched on the printer.

At the same time, downstairs, Sebastian had returned with his phone in hand. An intimidating aura surrounded him, and he looked more pissed than ever.

The Simmons family must have a death wish!

How dare they send him a mute? She had even gotten pregnant with his child!

Very well!

It was the first time Sebastian had fallen for a scheme like this.

He scanned the living room but did not catch a glimpse of Tamara. His expression darkened.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of the printer working upstairs. He frowned.

"What are you doing?" Sebastian walked into his study and yelled. Tamara was like a deer caught in headlights. She turned around in a panic and saw Sebastian stomping over. He grabbed her and pulled her outside.

"Who gave you permission to enter my study?" the man roared.

Tamara slapped his hands away and started signing, "I only wanted to print…"

"I don’t understand what you’re signing!" When Sebastian saw Tamara signing, his expression turned even darker as he was hit with the reality of marrying a mute.

Tamara paled. She let her hands fall to her side and bit her lip. Taking out her phone, she typed, "I’m only printing a document. It’ll be done soon."

Sebastian was furious. He gave Tamara a death glare before he sneered, "Tamara Simmons, are you planning to continue with your lies in order to get my attention? Do you think I’m stupid and I’ll fall for your scheme a second time?"

His unfiltered mockery was hard on Tamara. She tried typing again, but Sebastian shut her down. "Don’t you ever enter my study again, you filthy woman!"

The door was slammed shut with a thunderous bang. Tamara trembled in anger.

How dare he? He was the worst! She had never encountered a more evil person! And he thought she was doing this to get his attention. He sure had an ego!

Tamara was angry beyond words, and her face reflected her emotions clearly. She ventured back to her room.

However, when she arrived at her door, she stopped.

The contract was still in the study. She had to get it back.

Since they were like cats and dogs, it was better for them to end things swiftly.

Sebastian sat on his chair, holding a cigarette between his fingers. He had an impatient look on his face. At this moment, the door was pushed open, and in came Tamara.

Sebastian frowned. He snuffed out his cigarette and asked coldly, "Are you deaf too?"

Tamara ignored him and headed straight toward the printer. The printer was done printing the two documents.

She flipped through them to check. After she was sure everything was in order, she brought the documents to Sebastian.

"What games are you playing now?" Just as he said that, he saw the words on the documents.

Printed in black and white, it read, "Divorce Settlement Agreement."
