Chapter 11 Cured by Her Drink

Benjamin smiled faintly. “Margot said the mixologist has just arrived. We’ll have to wait awhile.”

Sebastian loosened his tie and sat on the couch. For some reason, the scene of Margot defending Tamara from him flashed across his mind. He couldn’t help but ask, “When are you planning to win that woman over?”

Benjamin was stunned. “What?”

“Nothing.”

Just then, a waiter knocked on the door and entered, leaving a single glass on the table.

Sebastian frowned. “Only one glass?”

Benjamin explained, “This mixologist is a peculiar one. She only prepares three drinks a day. And those three drinks are this place’s specialty.”

Sebastian picked up the glass and examined it. It didn’t look any different from other drinks. Upon smelling it, it didn’t smell like much either.

He really couldn’t believe that this was their specialty.

His annoyance flared, and he downed the entire glass.

It had a nice burn to it and tasted good…

Sebastian furrowed his eyebrows and struggled to describe the taste when he suddenly froze.

Benjamin was paying close attention to Sebastian. When he saw his reaction, he couldn’t help but widen his eyes in shock. “You’re pulling my leg. Did it really work? Did you regain your sense of taste?”

Sebastian stared at the empty glass. The taste still lingered on his tongue. He… could taste it.

He had lost his sense of taste for many years now. Was he finally able to taste again?

Sebastian put down the glass and ate a grape from the plate. Although he could feel the grape’s softness, he could not taste it.

He frowned. “Why is the grape tasteless?”

Benjamin tried the grapes. “It doesn’t. It tastes sour.”

Sebastian tried the strawberries, but they were tasteless too.

It was as if the taste earlier was nothing but his imagination.

His face fell as he stared blankly at the glass.

Benjamin was bursting with curiosity. “What’s wrong?”

“I wish to meet the mixologist,” Sebastian answered swiftly.

Benjamin didn’t know how to react, but upon seeing how determined Sebastian was, he got up to look for Margot. He came back soon after and shrugged regretfully. “The mixologist left.”

Sebastian sprang up. “What about the drinks? Are there any more?”

“All three glasses have been sold.”

Sebastian sighed and massaged his temple.

Interesting. He could taste the drink but nothing else. What sorcery was this?

He was even more curious about the mixologist.

Tamara brought back her suitcase when she bumped into Sebastian. The man stared coldly at her before his gaze fell on her suitcase. He narrowed his eyes.

“What’s that?”

Tamara pulled out her phone. “My clothes.”

“Toss them,” said Sebastian coldly.

“Why?” Tamara held up her phone and looked at him in confusion.

This man was such a control freak. He was even trying to control what she wore.

Sebastian glanced at the suitcase, and disgust flashed across his eyes. “I won’t allow anything from the Simmons family in my house. It disgusts me.”

Tamara wanted to roll her eyes.

Sebastian saw Tamara biting down on her lip and could feel his emotions swirling within. “Toss them or get out!”

Right after he said that, he went back to his room.
