Chapter 2004 This Is Real

Margot reached out to touch the wedding gown, feeling the expensive fabric. Every stitch and thread carried Benjamin's love for her.

She looked up at Tamara. "I'm scared, Tammy."

Tamara seemed to know what she was afraid of and hugged her close. "Don't be. This is real. It's really happening.

Tears welled up in Margot's eyes. Tamara understood her the best. She feared this was just a dream, an illusion she would wake up from. There was no rebirth, cat-and-mouse games, or Nammu Bay destruction. Everything was just a trick her mind had made up.

After all this time, Margot finally felt fear.

She held onto Tamara tightly. Even when tears streamed down, Margot didn't dare to blink, afraid that she would return to a cold room if she did, a world without him.

Tamara gently stroked her back. "Hold me tight, Margot. I'm real. You've felt the wedding dress. That's real, too. Nothing is an illusion. It was all real."
