An imposter

Olivia’s POV

I opened my eyes to blinding light above me. I squinted and waited for a while, to let my eyes get used to the lift before I fully open them.

I looked around, and I was in an unfamiliar place that looked like a hospital. I frowned, wondering why I was there.

Two nurses were in the room, and when they noticed that I had opened my eyes, one rushed to me, and the other seemed to be calling for the doctor.

“Hello, miss Olivia, how do you feel?” she asked.

“I feel fine,”

“Are you feeling nauseous, or any pain or discomfort of any kind?” She asked and I shook my head.

“I don't. I feel fine. What happened?” Inasked her.

“Well, you were rushed here after you showed signs of being poisoned,” she told me, and that was when memories of what had happened came rushing in.

I gasped as my hands immediately went to my stomach.

“What about my babies? Are they fine?” I asked, my eyes wide.

“Your babies are fine, ma'am. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them,” she replied, and I sigh
