MAEVE’S POV

The wait for the Beckley family seemed like ages and when Damien called me that they were on their way to the pack house, I couldn't help but anticipate.

We all sat impatiently waiting for them. Alpha Zane was nervous and I could tell by the way he was fidgeting with his fingers.

I went to sit beside him and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

“We will go on a vacation once this is all over. No need to be nervous because we are just minutes away from lifting the curse. Whenever your nervousness sets in, think of all the fun we would have,” I said and kissed his palm.

“Something you act like the man in this relationship,” He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

“I would suggest we split ourselves into groups and be ready to set out to do whatever it is the Beckleys would tell us to do that would aid Alpha Zane and Maeve lift their curse,” Lilian said to the others and they nodded their heads.
