ZANE’S POV

When I heard Maeve’s mom, Madeline, call that name, it made me think back to the day when my dad was narrating the history of this pack. He told me about her and told me never to forget the name, Aradia Laveau.

Maeve curiously asked who she was but I was in no mood to explain to her. I feared the consequences of bringing Aradia Laveau back into the pack.

For all I know it was better she remained banished from the pack. She was the most powerful Elder to have walked the surface of this earth before she began practicing dark magic which led to the death of many.

She was also banished for her profane behavior of seducing men and luring them to her bed. After that, no one saw them again. Some said she used them as sacrifices to gain more powers.

No one knew if she was still alive because no one ever heard of her or saw her ever again after her banishment from our pack.
